Combining an atmospheric, psychological thriller narrative with paranormal psychic abilities, stealthy exploration and intense shooter action, Second Sight brings a new dimension to stealth action games, giving players control of a character endowed with incredible psychic abilities. The game offers multiple approaches to completing levels either via stealth, dramatic gunplay, psychic powers or a combination of all three. The ability to psychically influence characters and remotely manipulate objects and individuals provides for a totally fresh gameplay dynamic.
Second Sight opens with John Vattic, the player-controlled lead character, as he awakens from a coma in a US medical facility where he has been subjected to traumatic surgery and experimentation. He doesn't know his name, he can't remember his past, all he knows is that his only hope for survival is to escape and unravel the mystery that has led to his imprisonment.

This is one of the best games I've played in a long time. It kept me occupied for a while. I didn't like the Starforce protection though, which is why I bought this version.
It has fast paced action , with weapons and psi power. A very good story line, I can't stop playing this game. The only thing I don't like is a bad camera system, and NO!! saves. The saves are automatic and far between. BUT STILL WORTH BUYING !!!!!!!!
Out of all the games i've played I usually have some kind of expectation. I don't know why I ever bought second sight I just did. I knew nothing about what it was, gameplay, none of that. Just got it. So I played it and beat it. Honestly I can't say anything bad about the game at all! Except the ending but that doesnt matter.
I wont tell you the story but just so you know its pretty awesome. As for gameplay this is where its just wow.
Imagine Metal Gear Solid level based with psychic powers and also a bit of Syphon Filter. There you got second sight. 3 Amazing things all mixed into one with great graphics and the difficulty level is perfect. Its not just run and gun you can do that or find other ways to do things like possess your enemies to make them shoot other enemies. That was so original and it made the game stick with me.
Absolutely a must pick up game 10/10!
Just finished this one. Really enjoyed it. Were a few minor issues like the targeting with weapons and telekinesis. Check points worked fine for me. Pity the game was so short though.
Second Sight is simply put, a third-person stealth-shooter with psychic powers. It's a good game, though for me the story was the better part of the experience. More then once I stopped playing the game because I was having difficulties finding the correct/best way in solving the levels but within an hour I was back for more.
The gameplay may take some time to get used to but I don't feel it to be a big detriment. As the game continues you get more psychic powers which help solve the levels. the only ones I really used though was invisability, projection/possession and healing(never have to worry about health). My favorite tactic was to possess an enemy, bring him near me and shot him with the dart gun when he's going back to his post. One by one they go down. Most annoying part is how the game often forces stealth on you. If an alarm goes off, the game spawns endless amounts off enemies until you've gone into hiding. Guns-a-blazing is a no-no.
But like a said the story kept me going. It starts with you arriving at some hospital with amnesia, you overhearing some guards talking about a slaughter involving you and children. Waking up you find yourself able to perform teleknisis and trying to piece what happened together. You find yourself playing through flashbacks, seeing yourself, a scientis, part of a team looking into an old russian project from the cold war, learning what happened and finding them to have some strange effect on the present. It is well written and can cause one to scratch ones head with an 'aha' moment near the end.
