A little too difficult
for a simple platformer for chilren. It would be perfect if only the puzzles weren't so puzzling.

Draw a map!
The Art is terrific and I liked the voices & the characters. So much for the things I liked. I supposed I expected a deeper story about the characters. In the end I wished for a menu with some trophies for knowing, which altar I already activated. The maps aren't that big, so the game doesn't need to give you any directions. As the controls react delayed. it is just frustrating, going the whole way back, after you fall off some platform. You get used to it. At least you don't die and the riddles are easy. I spent most time walking around, searching in every corner. Especially the last quest --> rock was dropped in some place to get to a higher platform (took 4 hours just searching for it - yay, fun!). Since I visited every place trice, I haden't any problems, getting all trophies at least.

More like a walking sim.
So you're a body snatching forest spirit possessing an innocent fox who did nothing to deserve this fate. Guided by a mysterious disembodied voice who will no doubt turn out to be the evil mastermind behind whatever's going on. I'm guessing, cause I didn't bother to finish Seasons After Fall. The art is pretty but that's the only positive I can give it. The idea of switching season to change the environement sounds good on paper, Zelda's Oracle of Seasons did it really well for example. Here gameplay barely exists though. You mostly walk around and jump on some platforms. Controls are really stiff, just turning around feels like a chore. It's just a very bland game. There's nothing to it that you won't find done better elsewhere. I felt uncomfortably reminded of Ori and the Blind Forest, but even Ori had at least some stuff to do.

Looks cute but plays badly
I was looking forward to this but I can't really play it. It looks cute, if simplistic, but the controls are very delayed. That could be something I could learn to live with but the game also stutters. Originally it dropped frames any time I used the bark but after fiddling with the graphics settings it wouldn't do that but would regularly stutter during normal play. That was too much. I've seen the same complaints on elsewhere, so it's not because I was running it through WINE.
