It works flawlessly using Juiced patch, up to 60 fps with that fix. Runs like native on Linux.

Biggest concern I, and most people have with this game on PC is it not running well and crashing. Specifically the game crashing when leaving the prison in the boat, which is within the first 10 minutes of playing. I was worried but not only did it not crash, but it ran smooth the whole time. I'd make sure VSync is on for everyone

The PC control and performance is one of the worst I've seen, It's playable but locked at 30fps unless you mod it, and it still isn't consistent

Well, it's definitely a good game, if you like the GTA-style sandbox crime genre at all. This is largely about technical details; and I've only ever owned the GOG version. There are some technical issues. Some people seem to have had trouble getting the game to run at all; this isn't the case for me, though. The cutscene framerate was initially terrible (I don't normally care much about framerate, but when we're talking 3-4 frames/second even I notice), but I fixed this by turning down the resolution (low resolution doesn't bother me either; YMMV). The car handling is not great, either, in fact it was intially nearly impossible to control. I did a few things; installing the GOTR mod, cranking down the horizontal pad sensitivity, learning how to use cruise control; and it's quite playable now although I'm not sure which change was most useful. Still not the best driving sim you've ever experienced, mind you. Not encountered any crashes as yet. I'm running Windows 7, if that helps anyone else.

I got this game while it was free, and that's about the only acceptable price for it. Having said that, as long as you don't take it seriously and treat it like Goat Simulator or something, you'll probably have a couple hours of fun laughing at its terribleness before ultimately putting it down for good. The menu controls are completely ass-backwards, the graphics are terrible for its age, the gameplay is somewhere between Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 and the original Max Payne. Don't pay ANY money for this game...but it is definitely worth it if you can get it free.
