Sacrifice

You will never play a game as uniquely wonderful as Sacrifice. I bought it years ago in a bundle pack with Messiah, which I couldn't get to work on my computer, or any computer since (In fact, I re-bought it on GOG so I could finally play it, but I still can't get it running). It was more than worth the bundle price for Sacrifice alone. Shiny was at the top of their game, and delivered a very special experience. From the great art direction, to the awesome characters who are all superbly-acted by surprisingly big-name actors (seriously, IMDB this game. It's nuts!), the awesome soundtrack (Included with the GOG purchase), and the interesting and branching storyline that plays out through some of the coolest and most intense RTS interface ever. The game is ferociously difficult, almost unfairly so later on, but it's worth it to stick it through to the end (and if you get REALLY stuck like I did when I played it as a kid, there ARE cheat codes for it. It won't make you less of a man). Also, I give the game five stars because I still believe it totally deserves them, but I have been unable to get the multiplayer to work with either this or the Steam version, which is really too bad, because the co-op or versus multiplayer in this game was a blast. (Of course... even if I got it working, I'd still have no one to play with!) If you've never played it, get it. If you've played it before, get it again and remind yourself why it's one of the best PC games ever made.

You are Eldred a wizard that brought upon the destruction of the world by summoning the demon Marduke. And now you are gonna fix what you have done. You come to a mystical realm with 5 Different portal wayes to a God, Persephone(god of healing and love) James(god of erath.."you know rock soil and stuff" -james own words) Stratos(God of Air and weather and accoriding to him the supreme lord of the air bringer of storms he´s a bit of an air head :P) Pyro (As his name sayes, God of Fire and destruction) And the last one Charnel(God of Death, strife, slaughter) So each time you select to do a gods missions you gain a power and a Unit. You start up with 4 units. (1 to give you mana and 3 to attack, Close range, Flying, and ranged) and 3 "main spells" if i would say so. Speed, Attack, and healing. SO IF!! You want a game that you will NEVER tier of, try Different combinations to complete the game. beacuse there is well ALLOT of diffenret way. witch god to pick, in each mission. what units ore powers to get. all is critical and change your playstyle. THis is the game for you, so take up your spellbook, THrow rocks. SWARMS of flies ore summon a fire dragon and hurl it on your enemies, ga huge tornado to suck up your enemies to the air..its all upp to you and how you choose to play. Buy Sacrifice, and you wont get dissapointed. if you LOVE rts, Magic, and a well made game!

A unique third person strategy game, with amazing characters (down to the units themselves), re-playability and SOLID voice acting. I haven't even got to the gameplay yet, which was hard but rewarding. It still looks pretty damn good today as well.

I got this awhile after it was popular, and fell in love with this game. SO amazing! Great Story, where you can pick and choose units, and I replayed it so many times just to get different units and spells in my bag O tricks. Get it for the story and gameplay. So good.
