Rune Classic

Rune is one of those game that, even after all those years, still looks pretty good. I remember at the time it came out it was really great looking. But it's not all that's in Rune, the gameplay is enjoyable and fast paced. It's some kind of third person shooter with melee weapons, you can even play deathmatch if i remember correctly. Overall, it's been a while i haven't played it but i remember the solo game being good with an interesting story. Some interesting gameplay mechanics, you can pickup enemies weapons, limbs to hit them, etc. Well worth its price here on gog.

Great game that brings back some good memories. Some have said that the single player is too long and a bit tedious and while that might have some truth to it, it all depends on what you like. If you like the feeling of being on an epic, sword swinging, Axe hurling, lizzard munching adventure through lots of cool places in the Nordic universe, then this game is a must. I think the single player is very underrated. I will say that the Multi player is on a whole nother level. Spent lots of hours back in the day lopping off people's heads!!

Heyyo, I'm still waiting on a Rune 2... Rune Classic is amazing... I've always wondered if adding the word "Classic" to this title meant they're working on or at least considering a Rune 2... cause This game's phenomenal. The hilarity of Multiplayer, especially Head Ball which has to be the most unique game mode in an MP game is just full of great memories. :)
