One of my favourite games of all time!
This is a fantastic game that kept me amused for hours on end when I had a PC. Now I have a Mac and can't play it anymore, does anyone know of a way to make this compatible with/playable on Mac OS? I miss it so much :(

If you haven't played this game...
If you for some reason have not yet played this game or any of the others in the series, you owe it to yourself. Even if you don't find the concept of building amusement parks to be particularly interesting, it will probably grow on you eventually. The original game is great but I personally feel RCT2 is better because of the extra scenery and options as well as the OpenRCT2 mod (hence the minus 1 star). But I'm getting off topic here, back to RCT1. The scenarios in this version of the game are my personal favorites out of the series and even on windows 10, if you have an original CD of this game lying around it will still work, another reason this game is so amazing. Again, if you haven't played this game somehow you owe it to yourself. Pick it up here or on steam if that's more your thing and get building!

Extremely addictive
Every few years I keep coming back to paying this classic masterpiece. Even though RCT2 has it's perks I would still prefer this version thanks to it's mechanics and overall atmosphere.

Still a good game
I played some years ago on my old PC with a CRT monitor. I bought it recently on GOG. It runs well today on my Windows 10 PC. The resolution is OK on my 1920x1080 monitor. I have run into just a few bugs. One is a guest getting stuck in a queue when a roller coaster is shut down for a mechanical problem. He blocks the maintenance guy from entering to fix the ride. It took some doing to figure out how to clear the problem without deleting the ride. Another is that some of the preloaded roller coasters make it impossible place the entrance and exit doors because the tracks are blocking them. Why include them? Beginners may get stuck on this while figuring out how to modify the coaster. I think a ride that comes already set up should work without needed mods. I'm also having some problems with the research settings. It's not clear now if the research is going on. Other than these issues, it runs quite well. The user interface is fairly intuitive. It's easy for a beginner to pick up. It's a fun game. I didn't take me long to get 1000+ guests in my park and it's still growing.
