Good game but loses a star for the lack of any way to save your game, which gets extrememely annoying as there is no way of guessing how long it will take to get to the next checkpoint.
Playing outside the Arcade Shooters in the 90's, watching the movies etc...
This feels weird, given the fact that high tech has almost overtaken Robocop.
It's a unique gaming experience. However, I consider Robocop Rogue City a
strictly Fan-Game. The younger generation probably will not get out as much
as we do, who grew up with 90's B-Flix.
As they are known to bring retro genres back to screen on the PC and console
I might suggest a decent Battlestar Galactica, perhaps.
If one can pull that off, it's Teyon.
The Controls in the game feel solid and performance is with minor frame drops OK.
Visually they did a fantastic job matching the 90's vibe of Sci-Fi to the core, very similar
to the classic Alien Isolation from Creative Assembly.
Do read the system requirements. They are about right.
So in the movies RoboCop had pinpoint accuracy but in this game I died in the news studio right when you go into the building for the first time on easy mode cause there's zero aim assist and I couldn't hit anything. I've played alot of shooter games and I've never had this much trouble killing things like in this train wreck. So a sarcastic thanks to all the players that cried to the devs that the aim assist made the game too easy in the demo and ruining a game that I couldn't wait to play. So thanks alot for nothing. Also thanks for nothing from the devs for not putting an aim assist option in the options menu for those that want it and for those that don't.
