Good Fun from a 80's Classic
I purchased the game after seeing videos of the gameplay and was hooked. I love the aesthetic of the game, the photo realism and the grit but specicially the attention to detail and love for the films that was on display. The interface, the abilities and the plot does a great job of putting you in the role of Robocop and the weird retro futurism of his world. This was faithfully made to the source material and I couldn't ask for much more. There are a few minor issues with performance and optimisation: one instance happened specifically in the quarry area that was strangely solved by shooting an enviromental trigger (a crane with some rocks over some snipers when introduced). Over 16 hours, that was the worst performance hit. Regarding the pseudo RPG skill tree and weapon upgrade there are some room for improvement. In the end, with missing a few secrets, some failed objectives etc, I ended up with over half of the skills (6 and a half lines filled) but some were far better and useful than others. For example I'm still not sure what Psychology was giving me, as the dialogue options it highlights were obviously correct ones anyway. The Auto 9 upgrade feature was the main source of a lot of my damage and did keep the same weapon fresh. That being said the RPG elements felt a little overengineered. I would find myself sticking to some PCBs a lot longer as they were just better than the supposed upgrades. The enemy types you've seen before if you've played a FPS game in the last 25 years: exploding guy, armoured guy, melee guy etc. A lot of encouters are just you shooting scum apart with a bit of gore, but ultimately that is exactly what I signed up for so I wasn't disappointed! Robocop doesn't cover shoot, can barely speedwalk and aside an ability to zip forward, he's a tank and he plays like one. It makes me wonder what a Terminator game would play like... Overall, highly recommended especially if you enjoyed the films, a decent story or just a good FPS.

Part Man. Part Machine. All Cop.
This game is my cup of tea for the nostalgia factor and the gameplay.I played the game on a laptop (Ryzen 6900HX+RTX3070TI) with everything on epic at 60+ FPs without any drops or stuttering. The Xbox controller works very well also if you prefer to play it that way. All the achievements are easy to obtain if you are an achievement hunter. The game is a FPS combined with lite RPG elements. You level up and gain skill points that can be used on various stats. The first stat to rise is Deduction because you receive extra XP points from notes, scans, and killing enemies. You can max Deduction in the first 3 missions if done correctly and you did all the side quests, scans, etc. After that, you can max out armor, combat, vitality, and engineering for extra damage with the Auto-9 pistol, which is your main weapon. Before leaving an area, do all the objectives, because there is no way to return and do the secondary objectives later, and you will miss a lot of XP points and maybe feel underwealming on higher difficulties. I played the game on extreme difficulty, and it was quite easy, and I needed 26 hours to finish the game, but I searched every nook and cranny on every map. From a graphical point of view, the game has nice visuals with everything on Epic. The reflections, light shadows, and explosions are quite nice, and the presentation of Detroit is accurate and has some of the movie characters from different sequels of Robocop. There are some minor changes for the endings but not that major overall, and your decisions throughout the game will affect the endings and change the outcome for some of the characters that you encounter in your playtime. I really recommend this game to all FPS players, and Teyon did a great job with this game. 10/10 for me

Bulletporn
Well, just ask yourself: do you like cheesy 80's style action? Over-the-top action? Do you like Bolter/Bulletporn like WH40K Boltgun? (just... slower). Do you like it to be an 'invincible' killing machine? If you answer just one of these, you have the right game. Just remember: You are RoboCop, not The Flash. But you have a FIST. And you can shoot them in the di.. groin. Like in the movie

Made with love
Game is clearly made by devs who love the movies. Was already familiar with Teyon, they also made the awesome Terminator: Resistance game. There's some jank and a few minor visual bugs (and one time spawning snipers caused a massive fps drops for no reason, reload fixed it) but it's very enjoyable to play, and it looks nice too. Extra points for some of the original actors voicing their characters.
