Surprisingly fun once you get going
By watching a couple of tutorials, I got the hang of this game pretty quickly. You complete missions and build your band of merry men. As the story advances, your camp economy flourishes (assuming you don't lose many merry men). This makes it easier to complete missions. There are a variety of fun abilities to use in missions. Aside from a level that forces you to subdue all opponents with non-lethal force, the level design is mostly sound. Fighting mounted knights is the big problem - combat with them is glitchy. You also can't knock them out, so your only option is to stun them and then kill them - not my fighting mode of choice. Many of my mission restarts came because my characters couldn't figure out how to strike his area.

Great RTS game
Definitely worth playing, although the game has some awful level design at times, forcing you to fight NPCs. Still that's only a tiny part of the game, so the 5 star is deserved.

Very Under Appriciated, Worth playing.
At it's core Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood is a point and click stealth game with a wonderful Robin Hood flavor. The mechanics are basic but have some interesting challenges and scenarios. You spend most of the game figuring out various ways to sneak past guard and explore the environment. I have put a lot of hours into this game over the years and I love finding new routes or locations I have never seen. The visuals are great and are a relic of a bygone era. I remember playing this on just a basic laptop in 2002 and it always ran great. I think this is a great game for anyone looking for something different or enjoys Robin Hood. P.S. Runs great on Linux. No hassles.

My childhood favourite
As a kid I was obsessed with Robin Hood. I read all the books, comics, watched all the movies so obviously I played this game over and over again. I thought it was brilliant. I came back to this title after many many years and oh boi did it age well. You got great mechanics, various characters with varying skills, good voice acting (although it's shame some characters are mute). Also, the game itself can be difficult, promoting stealth over fighting on harder levels, but when you're not into this you can go full out rampage with no problem on easy. Great game after all
