Resident Evil 3

This is the main RE title that i played the less, but i've got to say that it's the perfect ending to the trilogy. My favorite of the three of them is RE2, and the best one in therms of quality is RE1 Remake (if it counts). But i can't say this game is behind the other two, they are a perfect trilogy. All of them gets me to play with the same excitment. Shout out for the GOG price. If they we're aveilable in PSN Store, they would cost three or four times more.

The first thing that stands out is how smooth the game runs. No more fiddling with archaic settings or compatibility patches—this version boots up effortlessly, delivering the same tension-filled experience without the technical headaches. Controls remain exactly as they were, rigid but rewarding, reinforcing the slow-burn dread that Resident Evil does best. And let's talk about Nemesis. Even after all these years, the sheer terror of hearing “STARS...” echo through a deserted corridor still gets the adrenaline pumping. The GOG release retains every heart-pounding moment without unnecessary alterations, making it a pristine time capsule of survival horror excellence. Graphically, it’s a snapshot of late-'90s brilliance. The prerendered backgrounds may not have the same visual flair as the modern remake, but their eerie stillness and muted lighting create an atmosphere unmatched by today's overly polished designs. The FMV sequences still deliver their wonderfully cheesy, yet iconic impact, reminding us of a time when voice acting in games was charmingly rough around the edges. For both veterans and newcomers alike, this GOG port is a near-perfect way to experience one of the franchise’s best entries in its original form. No microtransactions, no remastered tweaks—just Resident Evil 3 the way it was meant to be played. Final Verdict: A faithful revival of survival horror gold. If you want the true Resident Evil 3: Nemesis experience, this is it.

SSSS+ A GAME that is kind of just a run from it kind of deal so the complains that the remastered version is just bad and simple dont add up. this is a good revisit

Got to this one after playing the previous two, and, while all classic RE games have held up and aged remarkably well, RE3 is easily the best of the three. More varied environments, a lot of new experimentation to keep the game loop engaging, great puzzles, and a pretty good cast of characters. Jill is the only playable in the main game, but the game makes up for it by giving a lot of tools as well as story variations depending on your actions. It also has a fantastic main villain, as Nemesis is extremelly intimidating even all these years later. The graphics did take a hit, though... They don't look as good as RE2, but the rest of the game is still excelent. Played for the first time now, and this is an amazing send off to this chapter of RE, and is my favorite of the classic games.
