Rayman Origins

This is the first Rayman game I've played and I was pleasantly surprised as to how good it was. Being a 90s kid I was brought up on classics like the Sonic games, Earthworm Jim, Castle of Illusion etc, I've played recent incarnations of Sonic like Sonic 4 part 1 and 2 and it's clear Sega forgot that what made Sonic so good back in the day was the near perfect level design and "physics", it's hard to put into words but the way the character moved and landed after jumps etc felt right, and the problem with new platformers is that they place enemies in random ill thought out positions leading to frustration. Rayman Origins has none of those issues, the animation is top notch, everything about the characters and level design feels really good, I prefer the sequel Rayman Legends as that seems to have a bit more of challenge, only sad thing is it's not on GOG so I'm having to put up with Ubisofts Uplay. Honesty if Rayman Legends came to GOG, I'd buy it again, the daily/weekly challenges that the game has really adds to longevity too

amazing music, replayability, controls, graphics. all up to 4 players. this game remenber me the old good platformer games like mario world and donkey kong! sure five stars game, worth spend $19.99 in it!

The game is a wonderful platformer game. The art itself is terrific. And I enjoy every second of play. I just wanted to play it because I enjoyed a lot "Rayman Legends", which unfortunately I played before this. It would have 5 stars if it had not such huge bugs that I found playing it that totally destroyed the game experience: - Character being dropped out of the scenary and camera following him, leading to a blocked screen forcing you to exit the game (lucky me, menu works still here). - Savedgames corrupted with no reason (no power cuts while saving, no sudden process killed,...) I have been playing the game for several hours, already close to the end and my game went corrupted. Only option (even given by the creators) is to start again. No mood for that. Now I DO understand why everytime you are in the main title screen it reminds you that the game saves constantly and you should be careful while it is being performed. -_- Great experience playing it, till all the spent hours lead to an unfinished game. It is a pitty...

Got this Game on PC and PS3. ISt just amazing. The Musik, the excellent Controls and the astunishing graphics make it perfect! If you like Mario, you'll LOVE Rayman!

Great and very very beautiful game. I would recommend playing it on Playstation Vita though. It is much more at home there.
