The Glade of Dreams is up in arms again! This idyllic world, where there is usually little more to do than eat, sleep, play (and enjoy a friendly fray or two among friends), is up to its eyeballs in trouble. It seems Rayman and his heroic gang of hilarious misfits has kicked off a war with just a little snoring! Their nightmarish neighbors from the Land of the Livid Dead don’t seem to share the same taste in music and have come to crash the party! Never ones to shy away from a challenge, Rayman and his friends are more than happy to knock these nasty killjoys back to oblivion, especially since it involves saving nymphs, making mischief, and earning fantastic new powers to make even more mischief. And this won’t be the first time! As it turns out, the fun-loving Creator of the Glade, known as Bubble Dreamer, is a highly sensitive being whose every mood impacts the Glade for good or bad! Rayman has had to beat back the creatures of Bubble Dreamer’s nightmares before, and that’s what he, Globox, and the crafty Teensy casters are going to do again before the fabric of the Glade falls to pieces and their entire world fades like a bad dream.
Rayman Origins brings back many of the classic characters, revived in their original 2D form, as well as a whole new world of characters and environments. Discover the roots of Rayman by collecting pieces of the Glade’s history, and assemble them to reveal the truth behind Rayman’s origins. For whimsical action-packed platformer fun in colorful 2D there is no better place than this magical world, and you can now visit it alone or with up to three firends in co-op mode!
Includes over 60 levels of 2D platforming gameplay designed for all ages and playing styles. Unlock new abilities progressively and return to previous levels to discover new paths and secrets.
Play as Rayman in the solo campaign, or have up to three friends jump in at any time to play as Globox or as one of the two Teensies. You can leave at any time without affecting your friend’s progression.
A rich world with over 100 characters and 12 unique environments created by some of gaming’s most reputed artists and animators.

Amazing platformer.
Diverse levels, great music, immense replayability. It will take quite a lot of time and dedication if you want to reach the final boss of this game! The Unique artstyle brings rayman to life and the game handles great with tight controls and while the difficulty of this game can be high it's ALWAYS fair and never ever cheap, making you keep coming back for more. This game rewards exploration and quick thinking, which means there's quite a lot of things to unlock, a few characters from the very first Rayman return and some very (sexy!) new ones come in too. 5/5 Stars - Reccomended to everyone
This game was clearly created with tender loving care and spades of passion. Wonderfully smooth and responsive platforming mechanics with gorgeously handdrawn backgrounds and animations and and music that fits the mood perfectly and and and all of it through highly diverse locales! It can get a bit hard but this one game in which you mind the effort. For once the consoles did not exclusively claim an excellent platformer
What can really be said about Rayman Origins?
Well, it's a 2D platformer to start, not an easy one by any stretch of the imagination, either.
Its locales are imaginative, striking and downright gorgeous in its chosen art style.
Its controls are super tight and never let you down, even if you choose to play with the keyboard.
If you enjoy platformers, you will love Rayman Origins, I can guarantee that.
This is my favorite platformer of the last several years (and probably the last several console generations). Great art, great music, fun and varied levels, lots of content. I paid $60 for this when it came out and I don't regret it at all -- it's a steal at this price.
I think Origins is the best Rayman (and platformer) game ever (so far).
The first thing that usually attracts people is its amazing graphics. It has beautiful worlds, shiny visual effects, and lots of funny characters. It will look a lot more spectacular if you play it on large screen.
There are a lot of worlds with different themes, such as jungle, desert, ice, culinary, mountains, temple, and sea. Each world has some levels with boss fight, bonus level, and some unique mini-game inside.
We can choose between Rayman, Globox, and two teensies. Each of them has their own funny animations and moves that are very entertaining, especially globox's jiggly fat belly.
The gameplay objective is pretty much simple, we rescue electoons, collect lums, fight the bad guys.
In each world we will meet nymphs that will give us new powers, such as punching, swimming, and floating.
The game is pretty hard but because of the good level design, visuals, and sounds, we will always have fun every time. Moreover, each level has their own unique design and you will be surprised with new things on every level.
The soundtrack is so good. It has diverse range of sounds from exotic instruments (such as kazoo) mixed with orchestra, ukulele strums, and chipmunk-ish funny choir.
This game will be a lot more fun (and hilariously chaotic) if you play it together with your friends. Plug in some gamepads and bring back peace to Glade of Dreams!
