This was the actually the first rayman games that, I've played. It has great platforming, style and humor. It can be a little bit buggy sometimes and unpolished in certain areas. Still I recomend this. Just pop the Groove Armada - Madder song and enjoy.
At a fundamental level, Rayman 3 feels sloppier than its predecessors, and I think that results from losing Michael Ancel's creative vision. The cutscenes have mediocre voice work combined with poor lip-syncing and abysmal pacing. Rayman no longer rolls upon landing on the ground while moving forward (a minor detail, but after replaying TGE I've realized it's a meaningful one). Combat becomes frustrating due to its length, especially during bosses and the last world's enemy rush. Replaying levels is also an annoyance, since the player is forced to start entire worlds from the beginning (frustrating if you wish to replay some of the cool sections or bosses). I suspect that Ubisoft hired some developer's to run away with Ancel's ideas, and created a derivative work as a result.
Even so, I did enjoy playing Rayman 3. The game makes for a good diversion, and as a Rayman fan, I enjoyed seeing TGE's control scheme and art style updated to the standards of the sixth generation. I just wish that magic from the former games were still around.
Had the pleasure of downloading this game for it to be unacceptable. This is ridicilous it does not launch. I have an AMD Ryzen processor if that makes any difference. Please get this fixed, I am dying to play this game.
