Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc

I had Rayman 3 on the Nintendo Gamecube, back in the day, and it was my favorite game. The music, level design and quirky humor wove together seamlessly into a game that easily stands the test of time. Today the graphics may seem a little dated, but the gameplay is still fun and imaginative. Someone Ubisoft was able to merge several gameplay styles into one game and made it work. Not many publishers can pull that off. If you're a fan of the 2D Rayman games you need to play this one. Rayman makes a very good transition into 3D the same way Mario did. Do yourself a favor and get this game.

And perhaps the last true Rayman game. I initially had this game on the PlayStation 2 and had played it over and over again so many times. Now that it's here on GOG I'm buying it again and those good times can now be relieved!

It's been over 7 years since I played this game... but I remember, It's more than amazing, it's so fucking awesome and beauteful I can't describe it. the only thing I did after school when I went though class pre-school to fifth grade i remeber, the only thing i did, every fucking day was to play Rayman. I assure you, like all other Rayman games, especially Rayman 2, It's impossible not to love it!

personally this is the best rayman game ever made so far. much more fun than origins and legends, and better than the rayman games previous to it. some may prefer the 2d origins style games and some may prefer the very first rayman game but this hit the sweet spot for me - 3D linear platforming with a great mix of environments, bosses, and gameplay. you will love this game even if you are not a rayman fan but like platformers to the likes of jak and daxter, crash bandicoot, ratchet and clank.

It's not as good as Rayman 2, but it's still a fantastic game! On some computers the texture will not work, but it can easily be fixed by setting TnL to 0 in the ubi.ini file.
