Easily one of my top 3 favs all-time
What the headline says. This is seriously one of the best experiences I've had in gaming. Everything is perfected in this platformer - the story is humorous, interesting and although maybe not extremely deep, heart-warming and imaginative. The soundscape is good for this type of game, and I much prefer the made-up language the characters speak to English as it gives the game a more fantasy, realworld-deattached feel. I feel my credibility is draining and I'm going into fanboy domains but I *must* continue with praising the music, as it fits the game SO nicely. There's quite many tracks and they all fit their respective areas and events very well. The graphics, although technically a bit outdated of course, still excel thanks to the amazing design. Controls are good, enemies are varied and fun, level design is about as good as it can become in a platformer with lots of different environmental dangers and cool scenes, such as water-skiing after a water snake thing through a swamp. Same goes for gameplay - very varied, very imaginative, very brilliant. That's my five cents. Again, one of my absolute best gaming experiences.

Needs a windowed mode
As a double monitor user I hate it when games with wrong resolutions fullscreen. If you're not going to fix the resolutions at least insert a windowed mode.

Excellent game, but...
This is one of the best games ever made. However, the GOG version completely fails at bringing it to modern platforms. It is not optimized in any way for Windows 10 and will not run at all on a Win10 machine. If you have Windows 10, buy this game from somewhere else.

The greatest 3D platformer
Ah, the good old days of Rayman 2. This game just gets everything right. The overall gameplay is great, The sound and music are incredible, the graphics still look excellent today. The progression is in the sweetspot between too challenging and too easy, making everything a considerable challenge with no real threat of thorough frustration. The only real problem with the PC version is you can't remap the controls within the game, so for people that hate that I'd advise an external key remapper. Usually that issue would make me take half a star off the game, but after playing for a while, I realised that those controls were bearable, and I even came to love them well before I finished the game. This is also one of the last "true" 3d platformers. Most modern platformers have a heavy emphasis on action, but Rayman 2 doesn't. It's mostly platforming, and trust me... it's perfect.
