Rage of Mages

Rage of Mages is one of those games that pulls no punches and expects you to play to the best of your ability and have a firm idea of game mechanics before you even think of beating the first couple of levels. Should you be strong enough; brave enough; foolish enough; to press on through the first half of the game, you'll encounter the great filter: The bandit camp! Legends are whispered about those who can beat the level on hard as a warrior! Try thine luck!

First off, I'm running Windows 10 and didn't have any technical issues that other reviewers encountered. As for the game, it lacks depth for an RTS, and doesn't compare to the fluidity of ARPGs. Considering this was released a year after Diablo. would recommend giving this a pass. The controls feel clunky, and the mish-mash RTS-lite and RPG confused don't do it for me.

Classic RPG. Great music. Exploring is often rewarded.

I really enjoyed it back then, and still it is fun nowadays. One of those games you have to save constantly )

I am enjoying returning to this title from my childhood. It is old, and has some issues, though it is quite enjoyable and different to most of the current titles available.
