TOO RANDOM
Original Puzzle Quest had the same problem, but the game was old and still very enjoyable. I've expected the new version to have it fixed but no.... Battle starts with enemy dealing like 30-40 dmg before you even can act.... Graphics are good, music as well, interface fancier (not necessarily better), but the game logic is flawed like in original.

Insane coincidence.
Ok, I'm not even kidding about this. I'm just watching random videos about games and I thought, with no reason at all really, "Hey I wonder maaayybbee if Gog would have Puzzle Quest from the XBOX 360 somehow?" BAM I type it in today, September 18, 2025, and IT JUST CAME OUT TODAY. YO WTF I am so hyped. I still have my 360 and PQ on it, but I never got to play any of the DLC. This is SO WICKED. Thank you to whoever decided to remaster this gem of a game. I HIT THE LOTTERY BOYS! YEEEEHAWW!! I haven't even played it yet and I'm stooooked!

Fun, but flawed
Its incredibly fun mix of RPG with match 3 game. But there is a fatal flaw in the game. The AI is cheap as all hell. The game will start a board with multiple match-5 combos at the opponents turn. Now if it happened just from time to time, it would be just bad RnG and getting unlucky. But it happens constantly. And if that was the only game of its type it would still be ok, because there is nothing else like it. But Puzzle Quest 2 exists and is better in every possible way. The RPG elements are better implimented, the RnG is much fair and the drawn graphics still holds up. I still give this one a possitive result because it came up with the idea and they tried to make it work, its just that it fall short to its potential.
