The game you never knew you wanted
This is a much more mature prince, with a much more dark story. No one asked for the prince of persia franchise to go the dark and gritty route but Ubisoft felt that it was time to innovate and evolve the game in ways most companies are afraid of trying. The game is stronger in terms of combat and intellectual puzzles but everything else is up to the player to decide. The game has a much more dark and gothic story and feel and has one of the most intense and mind boggling stories ever created, and the masterminds at Ubisoft deliver without fault. If you love dark atmosphere then this is your game, some people might miss the old prince and the colourful look but i found this much more engrossing. The only thing this game keeps from its predecessor is its combat, main character and heavy emphasis on puzzles and some of them are brilliant. So if you want dark atmosphere, a mind boggling story that has some insane twists and turns then you should do yourself a favor and buy this game.
