Awesome as I remember
Played it earlier, playing it again. Loving it as always. One of the greatest games ever made.

Probably the best of the series.
Having played the original game in my youth, I didn't know what to expect when I started playing this one. So I decide not to expect anything and start from scratch leaving the memories of its ancestor safely locked in my mind. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is a very good platform game based on extreme acrobatics, swordfighting and punctual movents. You control (who else) Prince of Persia a young man who, tricked by the bad wizard of the palace, unlocks the Sands of Time turning everyone (including his father King) into sand. Realising what he has done, he desides to undone the damage in a journey of self-knowledge and love (what did you expect not to be a woman involved?). Our hero can run, jump, run on walls and do all kind of acrobatics that will leave you with you mouth open but that means that a wrong step could prove fatal and believe me this will happen many times. To avoid slowing the action, the creators of the game came with a briliant idea, the dagger of time. With this you can turn the time backwards and get to a point in which you're safe in order to try again. Fighting can be a little furstrating because every enemy needs a different tactic to beat but I believe in the end you will get used to it. VERY IMPORTANT: I suggest using a gamepad if you have, I haven't played the game with keyboarb/mouse and I can tell if it is difficult or not (with the gamepad works fine). Overall the game leaves a good feeling. Great story, graphics, sound and level design probably better than his two successors. Recommended to everyone.

Works with XB1 Controller and Widescreen with widescreen fix. Incredibly this game still works and plays like a charm. Thanks.

POP on the PC
Well, I doubt that there's anything these developers could have done to take that awkward 'console feel' off of the PC version, but honestly, why would you ever really want to do that? Not only is the game pretty much flawless in and of itself, but that wonky camera feel and the crazy directional control make me more nostalgic than practically anything else about this game, if I'm really going to be honest. And it wasn't even that long ago that this game was the cool new thing! Well. It's brilliant. If you never played this when it was new, you absolutely must play it now. Few platformers since have got it this RIGHT.
