Prince of Persia®: The Sands of Time

It's most certainly a certified GOG. Keyboard controlls are a bit iffy sometimes but story and gameplay are wonderfull.

Played this 10 year ago. Might still play it again a few times in years form now.

Magnificent, as always. Childhood memories are relieved once again, and finally I'm old enough to actually finish this gem

Needs the tool DS4Windows (quit Steam) to properly use a controller. Also grab the patch that unlocks widescreen on pcgamingwiki. The game has aged gracefully thanks to a soft image, physics with destructible elements, fancy lightshafts, water effects and particles. But more importantly, tigh controls and an excellent moveset for the prince that makes traversing levels a breeze and combat quite enjoyable despite being simplistic. The only downsides in my opinion are the huge enemy waves by the 50% mark that drag combat encounters for too long and some camera angles that can make it difficult to navigate. Definatelly a game worth revisiting once in a while.

The only thing that holds up about this game is the parkour. Everything else is honestly terrible. The story is non existent, The prince unlikable. the combat boring and rapetative and respawns monsters again and again, bland graphics. I don't know how this game is considered one of the best of the generation. I'll say it. The Two Thrones is better in every way. Oh and this PC port desperatly needs updating
