Underrated Game
Well, it is no Sands of Time, but a solid PoP Game. And for me it is working on Windows 10.

Great
Great humor. Nice to a little play this game in a while during work. This game is very relaxing because you can't die or lose, only move forward. The challenge is to find all the stars ;)

Platforming, ONLY
This game has horrrible combat, I still 4 star it. It has generic story (as a bit of a mythology/religion nerd I do find some fun in the theology and the architecture is stunningly beautiful, inspired by ancient babylon). This is not an open world game, it is one massive temple/dungeon. This is amazing. But don't belive you will go "exploring lands" or ride through a canyon, all you will be doing, is platforming, This is fine. In all ways I am super okay with this. You cannot die but instead rely on checkpoints on each platform basically so death just lets you try again. This will get harder since in the end the platforms can be far and few between. The temple/dungeon you play in can be traversed fully one side to the other, somewhat choosing the order you do things in. This game has a simple loop. Basically you climb, jump and eventually "fight" (push off a cliff) an enemy with a lackluster "combat system" that really only serves as a checkpoint and unlock for glowing orbs that you will collect. The orbs are the games core. This is a MASSIVE temple/dungeon platformer with no real combat or good enough story whatsoever. And I love every second of it, running up on 30hrs now. You collect the orbs and thus are forced to actually perform all the platforming in the game pretty much, if you cant you will have to move on to another enemy to unlock a new section of orbs that eventually, unlock a new section of the games map by giving access to a new "skill" (a plate that will push you into the sky pretty useless except as a mixup). I love this loop Artstyle, graphics and mechanics are excellent. Controller is easier but you get very quickly used to PC controls and I recommend using them if you prefer it. The game hasnt provided difficult puzzles or combat for me but it is as if I dont care about those things, cause thats how good the platforming is and how fun it is to play. Recommended without a doubt if you want a good "collection platformer"

Princess of Persia
First of, this game is not about the nameless prince, it is about Princess Elika, so I guess a better name should have been "Princess of Persia". The story of the game is 95% told by the two caracters talking to each other along the way, so you rarely see any cut scenes interrupting the flow of the game, and I liked that very much. You still control the prince, but the Princess is always there and you will need her most of the time. You probably already know that in this game you can not die, not even if you try. To some people this may be a bad thing because it takes away the challenge, but for me this was a great idea because for the first time I played a game where doing crazy jumps is not frustraiting at all, and the game flows very fast since there are no interruptions by loading screens. The combat system may feel a litle simplified, but I liked it too because you are not smashing buttons like in most games, you really have to pay attention to what you are doing. Also this game is not combat oriented, 80% of the time you will be running and jumping all arround. The visuals are beautifull, I loved the art style, it really is like a painting coming to life, especially after each "healing". And one more thing I like a lot about this game is that it is not linear. This time the world is open and you are free to choose where to go all the time. I've played all the PoP games since the very first one, and for me this is the best. If you like complicated and difficult games you may not like this one, PoP it is truly simple and easy to play, but that does not mean you can't enjoy it. Oh, and by the way, the ending was totally unexpected, very original! Just loved it.

Lovely Backgrounds, at least
This will be brief. What is good about the game is the beautiful setting and platforming. But the platforming is only beautifully kinetic, not challenging. The combat is awful and out of place, with none of the free grace of that of Sands of Time, clicking over and over again in single duels against enemies that have no real differences. The story is weak, about an idiot king who literally gives up the world to the devil. And with the player character they were going for a Han Solo type; unfortunately he's nothing but a generic, edgy thug; and he blathers on constantly with the raggedy princess he's trying to hook up with. (All that said, the not-dying complaint doesn't make much sense, the game over and restart is just fluidly worked into the game, being practically identical)
