Description
What happened to the humans? Set in a post-apocalyptic world strewn with cast-off pieces of machinery, Primordia tells the story of Horatio Nullbuilt, who finds his peaceful existence threatened when a rogue robot steals his power core—the sole source of energy fueling his ship and keeping him alive. To recover it, the robot and his companion, Crispin, must leave behind their idyllic home for Metropol, the city of glass and light. Their quest to reclaim what has been taken away will lead Horatio to unexpected discoveries about his origins—and a new understanding of the humans who walked the earth before him.

  • Puzzles that emphasize logical thinking and exploration rather than trial and error or pointless backtracking.
  • A streamlined interface, player-friendly design combined with the challenge and depth of the classics.
  • Features over fifty hand-drawn rooms to explore, dozens of distinctive characters to meet, and gorgeous painted cutscenes to soak in.

Fun and intuitive

I have loved point and click adventures for as long as I can remember, but it seems like too often I get frustrated trying to figure out a puzzle that isn't very obvious, and end up resorting to a walkthrough. I can say that I solved puzzles in Primordia all on my own and they were intuitive or at least some clue was always nearby. I resorted to jotting down notes for some of the logic puzzles and am happy to say I figured them out. The quick travel is very welcome so you don't have to spend a lot of time walking from one place to another. I really liked the story in this game. The artwork was great.

Powerful

Perhaps the best narrative I've ever encountered in a video game? I can't say for sure as there are lots of games with great stories, especially adventure games. However, there's something abut Primordia that keeps me thinking about it even years after I completed it. There is something very powerful and moving about it's world and characters that will stay with you forever. Despite all of it's characters being machines, it's a very human experience.

Such a good story!

I haven't been touched by a story or a game like this for a long time. Since Neverhood. Since Machinarium. Since Blade Runner. Since Fallout 1&2... I haven't played point and click adventure games a lot, but this is a lot more of adventure game and simple point and click through your inventory. The game have soul. The game have Cryspin and Plasma torch :) Music 10/10, Voice acting 10/10, Story 10/10. What do you need more? Enjoy if you haven't.

A "delicious" game

If I had to describe the game with a single word, I would say "tasty". There's literally no better word to describe it. Beautiful storytelling, logical puzzles - I mean, the number, written on, say, a bomb, doesn't open a code lock by a miracle, - and even hints are given by protagonist's companion, not textualized or made in some other unnatural way. Try it - you'll love it.

Great atmosphere, witty humour

This is an awesome point & click game. Moody brownish graphics and eerie music emphasises the post-apocalyptic atmosphere. The story is interesting, and it has multiple endings based on your decisions. The characters are likeable (I had some legit laughs on Crispin), the voice acting is great, and the writing oozes nerd humour. The puzzles are just right, not too hard, but you have to use your brain a few times. If you are an adventure game fan, then this is a must-play, otherwise it's highly recommended!
