I remember getting this game as a demo on a PC magazine. I waited until I had one of these new fangled 3D accelerators that were becoming all the rage and then lost myself for hours playing this beautiful 3d racing game. It wasn't overly deep but boy was it FUN! Now with GoG I am able to relive those heady days of beginning 3D glory. A great game to just fire up when you want to enjoy yourself without to many complications.

Played this game a bunch when I was a child, could never beat it. Found this many years later on GoG after a vague memory of it farted out of my brain. I still can't beat it. I like the weird car and character designs. They're pretty weird. It's a cool racing game... once you figure out the controls and probably apply 10 billion patches. Also the game takes place in the year 2020. Lol.

As someone without any nostalgia for this game, it feels like a tech-demo for a physics engine. Graphically there's nothing to complain about, still holds up. It's the driving itself that's an issue. I get what the developers were going for with the sliding all over the place, but this is just one of the worst controlling things i have ever played. The difficulty of the game itself would not be an issue if the cars had just A LITTLE more grip. Still remains a fun experience tho, just prepare for frustration when your vehicle is moving about like a drunk oiled up boat.

Played it when I was 9 years old in 1998, nailed every difficulty and satsified me immensly. Very hard and challenging game.
