A very dark game, but a very good one at that. I really dont need to say much, basically everything good about the game has been displayed in all the other ratings....So ya.....get it, play it, love it :3
This game provides quite a challenge and is not for the soft of heart. This game is quite morbid in its humor with the main character saying sadistic yet funny one liners to the dying people around him. There isn't much plot to this other then your house has been repossessed and you have gone insane and must kill everyone to survive. This game is perfect for those with a dark sense of humor and those who are into over the top violence.
I have Postal, Postal2 and Paradise Lost and I love all of them, my favorite games and I keep replaying in higher and higher difficulty levels. There are so many places to explore and the maps are extremely helpful. If you just want a shooter where you can shoot this is the game for you. Most other games are good shooters, but get you lost in a story and nothing happens till you get to the next checkpoint and that to me is boring. Postal is open but will "herd" you to a specific route in many cases so you don't get lost and bungle around for a long time. The variety of weapons is amazing and some can be suicidal. The ones that shoot fire or the gas cans for example. But you can pee on yourself to stop the fire from killing you. Yes, you can pee on people and yourself. A very useful thing is catnip for speeding yourself up in really nasty firefights. Collecting cats is very good thing to do too. I have about 160 hours on the games so far and expect to have a lot more over the winter. One thing though, in Paradise Lost on my laptop, I hit a glitch where I couldn't continue. I don't know what that is about as it works fine on my tower. The laptop is a gaming laptop so it has enough oomph to run a game like Paradise Lost. It is immaterial though. Another nice feature is you can look to see your statistics on kills and the like. My highest body count is 2200+ so far. You don't have to kill people, but at some point they will start trying to kill you. You can pick up medkits for health and food items too that give you increments of health. People drop money when you kill them and in Paradise Lost you can use vending machines for health and weapons. You can also get armor. It does have goals you need to complete along the way. Again, if you want a shooter without a lot of bother, this is it!!!!
