The POSTAL Dude is back!

Several years have passed since the events that devastated the once proud town remembered as Paradise. The only two to walk away from the cataclysm unscathed, the hapless everyman known as the POSTAL Dude and his loyal companion Champ, drive aimlessly through the scorching deserts of Arizona looking for a new place to call home. After a fortuitous gas station rest stop ends with their car, trailer home, and the rest of their worldly possessions stolen, all the Dude’s seemingly got left to his name is his canine cohort and his bathrobe, and neither of them smells all that great. However, on the horizon, the duo glimpses an unfamiliar and dazzling town that beckons to them. What untold prospects lie within? Fame? Fortune? Maybe a bidet or two? Edensin awaits.

POSTAL 4: No Regerts is a satirical and outrageous comedic open world first person shooter and the long-awaited true sequel to what’s been fondly dubbed as "The Worst Game Ever™", POSTAL 2! (No third game is known to exist.)

Key Features

  • Approach your errands in a non-linear fashion within total free roam, open world, sandbox gameplay! Seek out optional side quests for additional rewards! Or ignore all of that and just cause general pandemonium at your own leisure in the town of Edensin!
  • Pick-Yer-Dude! Choose Jon St. John, industry veteran and legendary voice for Duke Nukem, as the voice of the POSTAL Dude! Or go with returning fan favorites Rick Hunter (P1 & P2) and Corey Cruise (PIII) as alternate voice choices, giving you more POSTAL Dude than ever at your fingertips!
  • Enjoy full freedom in your choice of pacifist vs. aggressive playstyle! Plenty of new tools to support your (mostly) peaceful confrontations, but violence is still always an option too!
  • Brandish an over-the-top arsenal, from the devestating boom of the quadruple-barreled Fournicator to the feathered chaos of the Pigeon Mine!
  • Add that POSTAL twist to your weaponry with potent power-ups such as the classic Cat Silencer, the slow motion-inducing Catnip, and the dual wielding Energy Drink! Supercharge your fists, mighty foot, and urethra with a dose of the testicle-shrinking Vitamin X!
  • Discover unique weapon combos and capabilities! Combine a feline with a Grenade or the Rocket Launcher for some mobile explosive pussy! Mix a little Catnip with your Hunting Rifle to curve every bullet to its exact mark! Feeling down? Use the Rattler to grapple your way to new heights!
  • Experience a bevy of interactivity as you feed Doggie Treats to strays to gather canine armies to do your dirty work, stock up on inventory (for a price!) at automated Vending Machines, and, for the first time ever in the franchise, use and flush functioning toilets!

POSTAL 4 contains Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Strong Language, Mature Humor, and Use of Drugs and Alcohol.

Postal 4: Mediocrely Neutered

Before we start let's get the big statement out of the way. It is better than Postal 3. However, when compared to the rest of the series doesn't mean much. One of the major problems is the humor. Sure Postal 2's humor was outdated and even offensive at points, but it was so ridiculously out there and attacked all sides that it worked. 3's humor tried to do the exact same as 2 but with very mixed results. Most of the time it fell flat or too much into the stereotypes for jokes. 4 attempts the same as 2 and guts the parts that could be considered offensive. Producing sterile, bland jokes that delves more into pop culture references and toilet humor that would be so outdated that by the next decade no one would find it funny. Not even the SJW and Mexican stereotypes are all that funny. While we're at things being bland let's talk weapons. 2 is known for the ridiculous number of weapons it provided. Now could it have had less? Perhaps but it gave a lot of variety in the way you could play the game. The cheat weapons added even more fun with like a Box Launcher and even a Cat Launcher. Now let's see what 4 has to offer. Wait, its downsized heavily. With most either being either really generic or carried over from 2. The only unique weapons like the Rattler and Pigeon Mine you most likely don't use often enough for it to be worth it. The Fournicator while unique on the premise of it being a quad shotgun, is just a weaker Sawed-off despite the 4 shots allowed. Lastly the tasks of the day. 2's tasks are initially simple yet turn insane once you do try to do it and there's always multiple ways of completing them. 4 is very on-rails and most of the time has only one way to complete the tasks. The biggest example is the prison task where no matter if the code is correct or not, it will open the cells. I can tell that a lot of passion was put into it, but they focused more on getting an audience rather than actually figuring out what the fans want. It's mediocrely neutered.

Getting better with each update

POSTAL 4 is a direct successor to POSTAL 2 (Paradise Lost). Much like the previous 2 games; POSTAL 4 revolves around the dude doing day to day tasks to get by... however! This time you're working for multiple (unlikable) bosses who end up screwing the dude. In terms of 'Going POSTAL' this game really knows how to push your buttons to go POSTAL and it supplies the tools to go POSTAL as well. The game is getting better with each update and with the continuous support of Running With Scissors I highly recommend this game. "But there's no edge!" POSTAL 2 came out in 2003, the early 2000s were known for their edginess because back then it was pretty rad and cool. The goal of POSTAL was never to be edgy, but to give you reasons to go POSTAL. I like edgy games and movies as well but it never felt like it was the main focus of the POSTAL series... except for POSTAL 1 maybe.

A promise of something greater

If you want games to harken back to the days when gaming wasnt beset by social justice agendas, then support the devs at RWS by allowing them to explore their satirical musings of american pop culture.

Driving mechanics!

A great sequel to POSTAL 2, made in Unreal Engine 4 with much more visually appealing graphics. In terms of gameplay, basically POSTAL 2 but it has driving now. I thought that was pretty cool.

Wait at least for optimization

Do not buy this piece of crap for the moment. It s boring, unoptimized and too politically correct to be funny.
