Game looks nice but is essentially boring. So politically correct that it is almost unplayable. Played for many hours but never felt real excitement or atmosphere.
Just installed it for free. You make up your mighty, impressive, " godlike" creature and guess what, you start the adventure getting some terrible sickness in a caravan.. and then they send you getting some berries to cure yourself, and you go, running!
bought it today, but´s not in my library, so I can´t install the game. That´s so disappointing, buying it twice should not be the solution... till now no support from GOG / and PP charged my bank account !! Fuck that shit
Having played all of the old d&d games upon release, I gladly backed this project on kickstarter, and had high hopes for it as it had big shoes to fill. I feel they did a fantastic job with both the art and sound design. I also feel they did a great job improving things like inventory, stash, party management at inns, etc. However, I cannot more strongly disagree with some of the design choices to core gameplay. I thoroughly dislike the way XP is handled, and the horrible replacement for HP and healing with their fatigue/health setup. I understand they lacked the d&d license, and I fully expected it to be somewhat different, but personally feel they went too far. I want to like the game, but as it stands I cannot. Hopefully some interesting mods will be made for it in the future.
