Pilgrims

It is the second game from this publisher I played. For me, the style and sound is very relaxing. I like the Czech mumbling of the characters. However, the story is very short. I finished the story in less than 1 hour. As different ways to play the game don't exist, I'm not motivated to play it again only to unlock some in-game achievements.

Have been working way too much the last two days. Over 30 hours! Today I felt kind of worn out and just wanted to recover in peace. The game really got me in a better mood with it's fun characters, beautiful artstyle and amazing and smoothly adapting music. I don't think of this as a puzzle game very much. Just walk around, enjoy the stuff that is going on and don't expect difficult puzzles as in many other point and click games. Most puzzles seem to have multiple solutions, so that it will be even easier to progress, and for the game to be more interactive and replayable.

This is a very short game, but the quality is top-notch. Puzzles are simple but they make sense and have multiple solutions, there are funny animations for many actions you don't need to do to progress, the animations and sound/music are great, and the overall feel of the game is very pleasant.

On your first visit, you can clear customs in about an hour. The game has multiple solutions for tasks and associated achievements for you to collect. If you are willing, it is expected to be repeated up to one or two times. The only regret is that the process is a bit short. A great afternoon tea, cheers!

An unexpected little treat from Amanita Design! As per usual this short but sweet game has excellent graphics and sound (both music and voices/sfx). The game really has this typical Amanita style! Absolute craftsmanship! The solutions to some of the puzzles are somewhat quirky and there's also an odd plot twist. But these add to the humor and charm of the whole experience. After playing the story through twice, there are still quite few achievements to accomplish. I'll attempt to do so in future plays, finding all of them will be quite a challenge. Pilgrims is a very affordable, sweet and (too) short experience that I can recommend.
