An evolution of Caesar 3
Caesar 3 was wonderful, but it had flaws that made it hard, but also great at the same time. Pharaoh fixes most of the original flaws, and offers A LOT more variety. Special mention to the monuments like the Sphinx and the pyramids. However it's less combat oriented than Caesar, and there is no equivalent of the charismatic Cesar. The game is on the whole easier, and feels more like a succession of unrelated maps, rather than an epic campaign in which you climb the ladder like in Caesar.

Great game
Back then I loved this game and guess what..I still do! It is one of the games where you also can just enjoy building and trading instead of having the need to fight against others. I still have the original game but it doesn´t work in Win 7 anymore.(or at least only with problems) This version works without problems and for me it´s worth every cent I spent.

Pharaoh and Cleopatra
Excellent city building game! I have the original CDs! And believe it or not I play this on my brand new Samsung laptop! I have Windows 7 also! I can play a lot of the Sierra games on Windows 7 but not the Shivers games! On my Dell Tower with XP I could play them all! This is the best Sierra game/s I ever played! I equate it next to the Myst games! Both are Superior!

Warm and cozy
This is one of the best sims I've ever played. The story is quite simple (basically you're writing the story of your family, to eventually become a Pharaon) but the gameplay is so good you will find yourself playing hours and hours. When you begin with monuments - such as pyramids and various tombs - you take a long journey in terms of gameplay hours. The progression is slow, but satisfying. If you love sims and city builders, don't miss this one.
