Perimeter

I was one of the lucky people who bought the game when it first came out. It's a unique RTS where you have to terraform the ground to build your base and harvest energy to, not only build your buildings but also to activate your defensive shield. There are a few basic units that can be transformed on the go to other, bigger units, and back again, which adds a nice strategic advantage if you use it wisely . a must have game!

What can I say? Hmm, I love it! I really enjoy RTS games, and it was great to play something so different from the rest of the games out there. The terraforming is really cool and adds an interesting new aspect to strategies. With bases being protected by the near impenetrable shields, it often takes something other than brute force to crack through. Graphics were perfect... game ran well on my aging laptop, but still crisp and detailed enough not to detract from the gameplay. I definitely became frustrated with a few of the missions and with the lack of explanation on how a number of the units operate, but overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this game to any fairly hardcore RTS fan. FYI, I bought this game a few days ago from GOG and this is my first time playing it.

The user interface killed every bit of excitement I had for this game. I literally spent 30 minutes on mission 2 because I had no idea what the fuck was going on. Neat visuals, interesting idea, absolute shit execution.

I was one of the 5 people who bought this the first time round. Its an unknown gem, and well worth playing for something different.

Excellent game. Different gameplay from other rts games like supcom and starcraft. It's interesting that there is no money. A very good sign indeed. I can't wait for perimeter 2 to come out.
