One of a Kind Experience !!!

I knew this was no ordinary game, but i got to say, no other game made me feel things like this one did. Once I got to the second day of gameplay (out of those 12 days), I quickly started to lose my notion of time in the real world. And just like that the weekend went by and I had more then 20 hours already into this game. I did a few days (till Day 4 I believe), blind and without any guides, or walkthroughs, up until I knew I didn't do well: was getting low on food, items, wasn't trading well. I mean it was bad and I realized I wasn't going to survive much longer, so I restarted with renewed knowledge this time. Do I recommend some outside help? YES PLEASE There is no shame in some help here, believe me. You Still want to have some fun here. Going in blind can only get you so far. Information is key here. Remember, it is a survival game after all. Will you die? Probably yes. Don't fight, most of the time avoid it if you can, with few exceptions. Don't panic, time is your biggest enemy here. Plan the things you want to do accordingly, for every day/night cycle. Don't neglect yourself either. You need food, rest and water, while immunity comes into play later Day 3-4. Read something about the game before you start, just to have a general idea, maybe some tips/tricks tutorials; does and don'ts of the game. Have fun with it, remember you can always reload to start the day again and do better, but death is permanent in this game throughout your save files, so REALLY take care of yourself.

A once of a kind peak video game

This game is peak, art is peak, story is peak, I'm looking forward to Pathlogic 3, which I have no doubt in my mind will be better than the Pathlogic 2 just like Pathlogic 2 is better than 1, you don't need to play the first one. A masterwork of art but be warned, the game is hard but that is an important part of the experience and the opening is enough to hook you, if you are not sure whether you should buy I'd suggest watching the opening of the game on like youtube or something. Could you clean the whip, please.

I don't mind masochism if the nails on the collar aren't rusty. So, while being demanding toward players, developpers should be demanding toward themselves : the game is poorly optimized and bugged as hell, and I wouldn't mind, for exemple, the lack of savepoints if annoying ctds didn't constantly happened. I regret I can't enjoy the game as it should be.

A new standard for deep, artsy games

A game about clashing ideologies and cultures. About love and death, heroism and selfishness. And also about art, videogames, and most importantly about you, the player. Pathologic 2 completely changed my standards when it comes to videogames. I had no clue a game could push me to question myself and my ideals, as well as the world around me, as much as Pathologic 2 did. I finished it more than two months ago, and yet it's still living rent free in my head. It should be noted that Pathologic 2 is not the most accessible of games, and I can totally understand why some people could dislike it. But please, do yourself a favour and give it a try, because if you do like it, you will like it a lot.

Buy This Game

It's difficult to put into words how I feel about this game. Buy This Game is the shortest version I can give. So, why? This game is not like any game I've ever played in my life. Oh sure, bits and pieces are familiar, but the structure and narrative that connects this game, the gameplay points that join everything up, they aren't like anything you'll see in any other game. It's not quite alien, more like a foreign-film with no subtitles, but beautiful all the same. This is also a very hard game, so do keep that in mind. It's a game where it is very hard to do the right thing. Most of the time, that kind of system can be gamed or learned or exploited or worked against, but this is one of the only games I've ever seen that truly makes doing the right thing or even a half-decent thing almost impossible. You will constantly feel behind, constantly feel overwhelmed. And it's magnificent. There's so much happening in this game, and so many things you are bound to miss or just refuse to follow. And you'll both dread and look forward to a second playthrough as a result. Dread, because the nightmare will start all over, and look forward to because you may just find the tiny oasis you're looking for.
