With the help of over 18,000 Kickstarter backers, Narrative Designer Chris Avellone and composer Inon Zur, Owlcat Games is proud to bring you the first isometric computer RPG set in the beloved Pathfinder tabletop universe. Enjoy a classic RPG experience inspired by games like Baldur's Gate, Fallout 1 and 2 and Arcanum. Explore and conquer the Stolen Lands and make them your kingdom!

Explore the Stolen Lands, a region that has been contested territory for centuries. Hundreds of kingdoms have risen and fallen in these lands, and now it is time for you to make your mark—by building your own kingdom! To do so, you’ll need to survive the harsh wilderness and the threat of rival nations… as well as threats within your own court.

Customize your character with a wide range of classes and powers including specialized archetypes, powerful arcane and divine spells, choosing from a multitude of class abilities, skills, and feats. Pathfinder allows players to create heroes (or villains) that fit both their individual gameplay styles and their personalities.

Meet a diverse cast of companions and NPCs, including iconic characters from the Pathfinder setting itself. You’ll need to decide who to trust and who to watch carefully, as each companion has an agenda, alignment, and goals that may differ from yours. Your journey will become their journey, and you’ll help shape their lives both in the moment and well into the future.

Conquer new regions as claim them as your own, carving your kingdom from the wilderness. While classic dungeon crawling and exploration lie at the heart of this adventure, diplomacy, politics, and kingdom development are also part of the challenge. Choose your allies well, and keep them close while exploring ancient tombs and ruins — and while dealing with politics in your own court.

Your kingdom is a reflection of your character and your choices throughout the game. It is a living thing shaped by your alignment, your allies, and your ability to lead your people. Not only can your kingdom expand, opening up new territories and allowing you to build new towns and communities, but your capital city will physically change based on your decisions, your policies, and even whom you choose to ally with. As your kingdom grows, a number of factions and neighboring countries will come to you to seek favor—and to test your strength.

Explore - Conquer - Rule!

Promise but stay away for now

So so close, but they fell just short. It's a full on conversion of pathfinder P&P rules and lets me be the alchemist I always wanted to be. Looks good, smooth to playm all that jazz. But do take the complaints about difficulty and balancing seriously. Enough people are having issues that it is a realy thing and the response from the devs is poor indeed. If they relent and do some balancing passes then jump in first chance!

A solid RPG experience [points]

I'll go the other way around... I am enjoying this title very much (despite some bugs) and unless I get really upset, I'm sticking with 5 Stars. If you like Pathfinder or any D20 with 3.5 D&D rules and it's likes, you'll like this game. I've played through the first two table-top adventures this title is based upon and this game manages to provide a great narrative that works great with the actual adventure path series. The rules implementation resembles IWD 2, which mixed 2nd & 3rd editions, but this title makes the actual transition to what Paizo made out of D&D 3.5. The added classes and the amount of variety available to the player is awesome and the interface is easy to learn and master. Yes, there are still bugs Oct 2nd. 2018, but the development team is quick to post updates and listen to QoL requests from the thriving players community. Lots of monsters, NPCs, side quests and more to fill at least 40-50 hours and on top of that, consider replaying the game selecting a different alignment and attitude :)

No a good game.

Do not buy this game unless you are a super pathfinder fan, and even then only if you like the mechanistic over the role playing. Even at the easiest setting the difficulty curve in this game is random at best. You can go throe several fights (even boss fights) with barely a scratch, and then 2 or 3 party members will drop to a random enemy. It is way do easy to make a bad build, and you will not be able to see it until you are 5 or 6 level in to the game, and there is no respect options. More over it is possible to make choices that put your kingdom in to a death spiral and not know it until a few hours of game play later. By now I can no longer be bothered to play throe the beginning of the game, from all the failed starts. And as such will never complete this game.

wait a few months before you buy

I won't lie this game is really great when it comes to story and character development (well, i know it's subjective but i really liked it so far). The difficulty is manageable but on the higher levels (hard/unfair) the game just become a "save scum" game wich make most people complaining about an uneven difficulty. The bigest problem with the game though is the bugs. There is simply too many of bugs, some are game breaking, others are quest breaking, ability breaking, save breaking or just little anoyances... in the end you just can't bare it anymore and decide to stop playing until they fix everything (it took me 50 hours for me to make that decision btw). This is why i don't recommend it right now, if you want to buy it wait christmas or wait for the definitive edition (at least you'll be sure that most of the bugs are fixed). I am pretty sure though that after a year i'll be able to 5 star this game and recommend it to everyone.

Kingdom mode needs revamping

This game was fun! Then for some reason, my kingdom was destroyed due to "Call of Abaddon". None of my open quests mention anything about “Abaddon”. I believe I was only in Chapter 2, but well over 50 hours playing. I tried an older save and enabled auto kingdom and "invincible kingdom", but game still ends. There is no way I’m going to start a new game to get back to where I was hoping the same thing doesn’t happen again. If you want a game that ends after 50 hours of playing for no apparent reason, then this is the game for you!!!
