Oxenfree

I like this game, it exceeded my expectations. But it is not ideal and here is why. It includes some boring and repetitive actions (like "walk from one side of the map to another" or "collect all items evenly spread over the whole map"). It also forces to make decisions fast, sometimes very fast. Characters are extremely talkative (so I would say this is also a talk simulator), but I don't mind this as I'm still learning English and like listening to the chatter. On the other hand, it includes an interesting plot with twists, simple but good graphics with nice special effects, good voice acting. One question that bothered me till the very end is if decisions affect anything. Turned out they do. All in all I like it, but I'm not going to play it again.

The game is nice enough and still i give it 4 stars? Yes, the game is a lot of fun, it is not that hard and the story is nicely crafted (although movie savy people will guess whats going on fast) The game is worth a play through or 3 to get all the endings. and some nice references to other playthroughs.

As others have noted, traipsing back and forth across the game world artificially lengthens the game quite unnecessarily in places. But overall, the look, feel, and sound of this game make some of the tedium worth it. Please support indie titles on small budgets that bet big on story and atmosphere. This game does Lucas Arts' point-and-click adventure game legacy proud.

I'm gonna keep it simple: What can i say... Freakin great!

A lot of teen talks, which most of them I don't really get it, and forces me to choose something that's better, not the best, during a conversation. With a radio, you played the whole game done. That's something new and refreshing for me, for a game. I've finished my first round, probably playing again soon, coz I dunno how I ended up with the 5% that sacrificed Clarissa. But, I bonded Jonas and Alex, as well as match up Ren and Nona. Darkly, I felt like this is the best ending for me.
