Unplayable
The original was a superb game, but it was only playable because of the joypad configuration options (e.g. what lunatic would possibly want strafe as the default left and right movements?) This rework is very pretty, granted, but of you use a gamepad, it's only playable if you are: a) Willing to use both thumbs in perfect co-ordination to make even the pettiest of movements (this could be overcome in the original by double-mapping the sticks) b) Happy with the fact that half of the basic controls you need are only available by using the keyboard and mouse (no matter how many buttons/double-click options you have on your gamepads) I'm pissed off enough to demand my money back, because "gamepad support" does not mean "no way in Hell you'll be able to play it with a gamepad", but I'll wait until the end of the grace period, to see if a fix is implemented Oh, BTW, before the choir of idiots starts up with "you should only play with a keyboard and mouse, anyway!", tell them to go and do something useful, eh? Opinions like that are neither helpful nor needed.
