The game showed promise in the first two or three missions but then the "spacewalk" mission started, the sphere must go outside and explore the huge ship and find specific spots in the hull practically without guidance, a tedious task, considering in addition that controlling the sphere is hard and the map is disabled (!). Bad creative choice, guys.
Look for EAS 3 control panel.... looked for it for like 40 minutes..... it was a size of a tablet attached to a big a@# space station.... got the control panel working.... look for damages..... BIT@#%$ THE WHOLE STATION IS DAMAGED.... WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO???? SPEND THE REST OF ETERNITY IN SPACE???? I'm glad it was only 25 bucks...
I keep coming back to play the game. Not many games I own have this appeal. The story, atmosphere, and gameplay are great. Yes, there were bugs in the beginning but they have been fixed, or I have at least not run into them. I would love to see a sequel to this game's story; it has the potential for one. If you're interested in a thriller set in space, where you don't play a human this is defiantly it.
From what I've seen in the 1.5 hours I spent in the game, I could have liked it. The interiors of the space station are detailed and realistic. The premise is unique and intriguing.
However.
It keeps crashing at startup. It will crash 100% unless you "Run as Admin"; but even then it crashes with some probability, or just hangs with a white screen, or hangs while the "loading" indicator is spinning. Once you're past the loading, it runs without problem. But with each launch the probability of crashes seems to go up.
So now I'm at a point when I can no longer force myself to fight with the thing. I've spent 2.5 hours today (longer than I spent in the game, total!) trying to make it run, and it keeps crashing. So I'm giving up. I have better uses for my time.
No idea if it's idiosyncratic to my system config. However checking online shows that I'm not alone, and there are no answers. So before buying this title, consider your LUCK stats against the possibility of money wasted and frustration instead of enjoyment.
Upon installation the game crashed when starting a new game. Restarted and was able to start a new game but wasn't able to proceed past the first puzzle due to a bug. Sadly a hard pass.
