Normality

This was a really fun game. It was nice to see a traditional point'n'click adventure game set in an open 3D world. The voices are pretty bad, (especially the protagonist's), but i assume the american voices are better. I don't see why GOG couldn't bother to throw in the original voices. Also, the soundtrack is acceptable, but could've been much more mood-setting. This doesn't really affect the actual gameplay, though. The game's comedy is sort of lame, and didn't live up to my expectations. If you are in this for the jokes, i suggest playing the Monkey Island series, or any other classic LucasArts or Sierra adventure games. In conclusion this is a fun game with some flaws, but a lot of entertainment value. just don't expect the gut-busting humor of other games of this era.

A small gem that I never played until now. An adventure game set in first person where you must move around and look around! Lots of stuff to examine and interact with, odd characters to talk to and pretty reasonable puzzles to solve as well! Exploring around in first person was a breath of fresh air and added quite alot to the charm and exploration of the game. It was always fun getting to a new location, scouring for items and clues and solving puzzles. It might not be the best adventure game of all time, have the cleverest jokes or best written dialogue, but I did have tremendous fun playing through it and only had to resort to a guide for a small hint once. And that's for me is a solid five stars for an adventure game. Plus the artstyle is just rad as heck!

Personally, I think this was the first time I completed the game. I remember it getting high reviews when it game to Finlands gaming scene. I think the game has aged remarkably well and is definitely the same enjoyable genre of first person adventures. Game has lots of good humour and the puzzles are usually easy and cannot be done wrongly nor one does not really need to begin all over by any other than will to play it again. First, the user interface is just perfect for the game and movement in the gaming word is smooth and fun. Plot offers lots of fun and good moments for laughs. The only reason I give only 4/5 stars is because the game is kind of short. One wwould have hoped more to play. And, remember: "Stay Normal!", Fellow Gamers!

When Normality first came out, it quickly became one of my favorite games at the time. So when I had a chance to grab a copy from GOG I thought what the heck! Sure I read that it was the UK version and the different voice actor does mess with my memories of this game. However it is still enjoyable. Maybe there is a way to change the sound files...

This game is so rad, I'm like whoa dude. It's positively sweet as bro!
