No Man's Sky: Voyagers update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

Shallow but engaging.

It's what I expected: a novice's survival game with light space sim and roleplaying elements, set in a massive procedurally-generated universe. Land on a planet, collect resources, and upgrade your equipment so that you can progress to the next point. If you're comfortable with repeating this basic process across an ever-changing landscape, the game offers a virtually limitless amount of content. If you're expecting any real depth to crafting, combat, or roleplaying... there are much better games out there. That's not to say that the gameplay in No Man's Sky is particularly flawed; if anything, its simplicity is necessary so as not to get in the way of the game's larger ambitions: to instill a sense of awe in the player. And it's not just the sheer scale that impresses; all of the design elements, from the ambient sound design to the score to the visual flourishes come together to create a world that's compelling without seeming ostentatious. It's definitely a slow burn; you'll have enough direction to escape boredom, but moments of awe will tend to unfold gradually over time. While the procedural elements of the game have been quite optimized, the same cannot be said for its technical performance. On a high-end machine, I experienced occasional hiccups; wait for a patch if you're near the lower end of the requirements.

Great Game but Poor Execution

No Man's Sky Is a Amazing Game Based in a interactive World It feals like a living art peace. The Down Side is the game has been Poorly Executed and Feals more like a early access game. Not a Full Game Release. Disappointed hope the Updates Fix most the issues.

Beware, content missing in this version!

Be warned this is not the full multiplayer version! The DRM free version does not allow multiplayer and the developer has been silent on the topic ever since announcing that multiplayer was included on all platforms except this, the DRM free one. There have been multiple updates with no mention of the missing functionality for the GoG customers, buyer beware. The game is fun, but after the thrill of finding amazing screenshots wears off the excitement of the game lies in its potential, the updates have been substantial since release and in a good direction, however the communication is poor and the follow through on promises approaches legendary in its incompetence. I can't recommend this game until the developer follows through and provides multiplayer functionality that allows GoG customers to play with customers of other platforms, as much of the recent features tie in with the online community and new multiplayer focused website.

DRM Free version Subpar

Game is meh. it's gotten better since release but the fact that many features have been left out of the DRM free version with no reason or valid explanation. It is unacceptable and I can't suggest anyone buy this game.

NO MAN's SKY is really No Man's PC

This game is a POS in terms of the port I am not talking about bad UI or controls when I say bad port but refering to the almost zero optimization of the game so that it can not run on a pc at all like it should. You can find numerous examples on youtube of just how BAD the game runs. The Know on youutube streamed with a i76700@4ghz with a GTX 1070 video card and it STILL couldn't show anything but a jerky mess. The game is in a DO NOT BUY state and will be for I can assume a while. Yes it is the bad on the optimization for PC. This is a shame as it is perhaps the best indie survival game on the market IF and this is a real big IF you enjoy the rewards of just surviving and the thrill of exploration. If these things don't appeal then the game isn't for you in terms of game play if you DO enjoy these things then I am sure you would enjoy the game on the PS4. The lore which is gathered from monoliths is quite compelling to me but this is gets ruined when you jerk around and stutter because of poor frame rates and I am talking about frame rates hitting well below 30 fps. No exaggeration here this is not some PC master race BS where if it drops below 60fps that is 'unplayable,' no this is dropping and staying for extended periods of time below the 30 fps mark on decent video cards mine is a AMD r9 290 and frankly that is WELL above the min requirements and the game can't handle medium settings on an i7 machine with 12 gigs of ram. I was looking forward to the game i was not disappointed with the content of the game just the POS port. This game COULD and I say COULD because hello games is a small studio so maybe they just can't handle making the game for two platforms, be ready to buy next year but I would wait at least a year for it to mature on the technical side plus they are adding new content so you'll get the game likely at a lower price point it will likely but no guarantees be playable on PC by then and you will get more content.
