No Man's Sky: Voyagers update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

So buggy I couldn't reach ingame.

After restsarting the game x times, after googling how to debux 7 bugs during the beginning, I am now stuck on a grey scrren with, sometimes, the hud visible. I give up... 70€ and 18 months after its lanch, you could expect that the game could be quite polished. No, it is a succession of bugs you will have to fix by yourslef when you can.

Updates that destroy progress

I played the game for one straight year collecting material, building a base on the perfect planet, and advancing my personal progress each time I logged in, only to have them update the way planets are generated and destroy the years worth of work by turning my beautiful, lush, resource and life-filled planet into a toxic desert moon. I will never play this game again and am proud to have discouraged others from buying it.

ONE MANS RIDE

If your going to base your review on performance put your specs in your review! Otherwise whats the point? Runs great at 55-60fps on my i7-7700cpu@3.6ghz, 1050ti (4gb) gfx card and 16gb ddr4 ram! I installed to normal hard drive, not my SSD. If you cant run the game properly go cop a console! hahahahaha The BEYOND update brings NMS closer to its original vision/promise. I've been playing with friends and strangers and have 100+hrs gametime (Steam). There's one thing thats missing - PvP! I wanna nuke other ppls planets and bases Shaun Murray cmon dawg! Lets use our fleets to shoot eachother up yo! Downside: can be grindy early game but stick with it and things get waaaaay easier. If people say all they do is land on planet, mine, go to new system, repeat - they dont know what theyre doing lol! So dismiss they're review and read another! 3.5 STARS! (Yo GOG why cant i do half stars c'mon mayne??)

I Just Don't Get It! No fun here!

I have tried to play this game. Several times. And I keep it installed to try again at some point. But so far it is uninteresting and tedious! They make such big promises like unlimited worlds but every world seems almost the same as every other world. Different colors. Terrain rearranged. Maybe 3 or 4 creatures that all can be ridden or milked or tamed. They all react mostly the same way. And they are all built from the same limited toolbox of critter parts. The tedium begins immediately because your ship is broken and you must mine stuff to fix it. Once I got my ship I thought "OK, now it will get fun!" but...NOPE! Once I discovered other sentient creatures I thought "OK, NOW it will get fun!" but again...NOPE! I even got off the planet to a space station and got bored really quickly "talking" to a variety of beings who all seem to be humanoid in shape except for their heads! I tried to learn their language...ONE...WORD...AT...A...Time! So I asked my (adult) son to give this a try and...he doesn't get it either! The only fun we managed to have was to ride creatures around at double-speed while playing the Benny Hill music! That fun lasted just a few minutes. This "game" just seems horrible to me! Maybe I just don't get it. I welcome anyone who can show me where I am missing the point of this thing.
