Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.
In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.
Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).
And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.
Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).
An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.
At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.
Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.
Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.
Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.
The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

great game
Ok after a couple of hours of playing the game i have chosen to write a review about my experience, this game is not optimized very well fps drops to under 20 at times and it stays there until game restart. how ever that does not happen often so i can live with it for now. i run two GTX 970 in SLI and the game has no SLI support as only one GTX 970 is doing all the work, how ever that is fine because it does run with SLI enabled. gameplay wise, i find the game fun (i love explorer games). space combat is nice and easy (not like elite dangerous) which is good. graphics could be better with everything on max. it looks desent but nothing WAUW like. overall this game will be really good when the FPS and stability issues. has been fixed. looking forward for that patch... :D

Wonderful Game
Works fine on two PC's that I've tried it on, Nvidia cards in both, if that helps. It took me about an hour to get used to the interface and learn how to play. Once I did I found it to be a great game. It's exactly what Hello Games demonstrated from the beginning. Although exploring is the main game dynamic, managing resources and upgrading equipment makes the experience more fun. I made the mistake of buying a new ship in the Space Station that didn't have any fuel. I'd sold everything I owned to buy it, including the resources for creating fuel. I ended up running around the landing deck approaching every ship that arrived to see if they had fuel to sell. Eventually made it off the Station, but this all just added to the experience that is No Man's Sky. I'm having a ball exploring caves, researching creatures, learning the languages and following the path of Atlas. It's been a flawless experience for me and I'd recommend it to anyone that likes free-form survival games.

Good but maybe not for everyone
Hello everybody, I can't say that the game is without the issues and I can't say that this kind of game is for everyone. I know that the expectations from community were very and very big and maybe the game in this initial state is not up to everyone's expectations but I am playing this game and I like it very much just because it is just something most of us were dreaming for years, endless space, endless exploration and only we together with our space ship in the whole universe ..... P.S Although I have the high end PC I had some performance issues from the start too but was able to fix them expecting the graphical settings and finding out the the game set the monitor resolution to the wrong value, corrected it and now with everything on max the game is running smoothly with 75+ fps

too much hype too little content
It might be a 4 star if it were $20 and falls in the category of a Steam pre-release work-in-progress. for $45+ you must be kidding me. I got the game through Steam, and already requested for and got a refund, luckily I did that Too many flaws - little/nil optimization for PC - repetitive play - empty story - stupid control - no building mechanism - Everything that was said to be special about the game was just a puff. yes you got loads of different planets only turned out to be not that different. Animals just mix and match using a bunch of different body parts
