No Man's Sky: Voyagers update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

Scratches the exploration itch

I have had a ton of fun with this game. I'm about a dozen hours in so far and I do agree that this game is one of those that is what you make of it. You have to set your own goals and go for them. My current goal is to learn enough of a language to understand most words spoken to me. So far I have about 150 words learned in one of the languages. I know a lot of people are having technical trouble but I personally have not had a single crash or slowdown with this game. It runs perfectly and has done so litterally 10 minutes after it was released which is how long it took me to get it downloaded and up and running... and I don't have a top of the line computer. It's good... but it's not brand new by any means. I understand your frustration if you can't play it... but I can and it is an excellent game with an intriguing future storyline. I will be playing it for a long time to come.

Lacks depth and complexity

I hadn't heard much about this game. The only things I had heard at time of purchase was that it was massive and epic and you could play with friends. Well, it is massive, but you can not play with friends. I'm not really sure what all was promised, but I do know that what it is on its own is disappointing and boring. There's almost no real reward for exploring a planet except to learn more of one species language and for resources. No one really says anything interesting, aside from a few neat rock formations you never find anything that interesting on planets, and space feels very devoid of things to do and dull. To be honest, after maybe five hours of game play I was so tired of the game I couldn't stand it and had to uninstall it.

Boring and Fraudulent

This game is horrid. Now, don't get me wrong. It is gorgeous to look at, and the procedural landscape generation is brilliant. But that doesn't make a good game. It's tedious, grindy, and boring. The real kicker is, though, that the game isn't anything as advertised. Most significantly there is no "mystery" at the center of the galaxy. Once you get there, you get to see... Nothing. There is NOTHING there. Add to that the debacle about players not being able to see each other, and you have a product that is simply fraudulent. I cannot recommend this game, or doing any business with Hello Games, ever.

Very Underwhelming Experience..

I have poured in a lot of hours in this game and I can tell you that all the things that were promised by Hello Games were not in here as a final product. At launch, the performance was really horrible and optimization to the PC was bad even with my ASUS GTX 970 STRIX. After the following patches, it's improved my FPS, but that was just one issue out of many to follow. I've recently lost my save file.. Which was a bummer to start over again.. After that, I haven't been playing at all. I felt like this was an unfinished product that was pushed and not really worth $60, but $25 in my opinion. It's not complete garbage, but it gets boring REALLY quick. Everything about the game is shallow. What was presented on E3 is not what we received. Even with all the speculation on the mega thread in reddit regarding missing features. Further research found by people showed that the planets shown at E3 were designed by HelloGames and not really "randomly" generated. It's a disgrace to the community of gamers for a video game developer to do this. Straight up lying about certain key features in the game that are not shown in the final product..

too high priced for what you get

The game is basically early access beta. It has great yet untouched potential. The explorative nature itself addressing your couriosity could keep you for hours and hours. But still, it would do the game some good, if it had a better more thorough starting tutorial and a propper mission / delivered background story to initially guide you setting out into the vastness of space. Also orienting yourself is very tricky, on planets, in your solar system and in the galaxy. And whilst I am sure the developers are addressing all those subjects and improving the game over time, 60 Euro are way too much. Even for a perfecly polished AAA title - which it is not. Just dropping you in a insanely vast precedural created universe without any guiding is not enough of a game. So, the money worth to play the game? No. I would not recommend it at current. Better poished with some upgrades and you might want to get it starting at around 30 Euro later on, if you are of an explorative personality.
