No Man's Sky: Voyagers update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

Boring. No minecraft in space.

I am really disapointed. Boring as hell. Was a follower on twitter since the first time and cannot get, that they had so much moments for happiness.

No Problems Here

A lot of people seem to be having issues with performance; I get very mild occasional lag but for the most part everything runs smoothly on my machine. Granted I did just buy one not that long ago that was a build optimized for this specific game... BUT enough of that. For me, personally, the game is all I ever expected it to be and all I ever wanted. I know a lot of people are complaining that it's almost entirely exploration with maybe limited space battles, but as far as I'm concerned it's pretty much as advertised. Don't think I ever remember the developers saying or pretending that it was going to be anything more, except for the potential promise of DLC. I understand why it could be a turn-off for a lot of people, but the combination of me wanting to be an astronaut for literally as long as I can remember and an insatiable amount of wanderlust (in addition to being a sometimes-obsessive completeionist) make this basically perfect. For example, while most people I've seen have kind of blasted through the starting planet really quickly, I spent probably 4 hours just there before I ever got back to my (by then functional) ship. And I still didn't discover everything!

Really wanted to like it

I see a lot of potential here, but I have to believe that functionality and performance were sacrificed to get this out the door. After about 20 hours, my opinion is that the game is repetitive and boring, and I consistently experience a slow down in frame rate to about 10 FPS after 20 to 30 minutes, forcing me to exit and restart, Wish I had held off on this for about a year...

A good base. Not a full game.

No Man's Sky is a good base for a game but it is most certainly no where near being a fully finished product. The game needs at least 2 more years of development time and serious work. There is very little in the game itself and the performance and bugs make it a pain to play. With this base build of NMS you will explore randomly generated planets that are all the same because the tile pool it pulls from is too small in variety. Same with all the flora and fauna. Like a lego set with too few bricks. You will mine, mine and mine some more. There is nothing to do with these resources except keep your ship and upgrades fully charged and making more upgrades. You can't "Build" anything. Not structures, not new ships, not decorative things. You can't even rename your ship or it's appearance. The game has potential but it was pushed out the door far too early and with very little to it. If you want to buy NMS go ahead but I advise you to wait a couple of years and then look at it again. Assuming ofcourse that any updates are made to the content of the game itself. It may not. We shall see. Final thoughts: NMS is an early access game that isn't early access and a full price of £50. DO NOT BUY... yet. Date written: 17/08/2016

Plays great, Looks great, IS Great.

Not sure why people are mad about this game, been waiting since launch to grab it, did, and feel great about it. It's oozing that 80's neon gorgeousness of sci-fi movies, and it's like some of those startrek episodes when I land on some planets! Plays good, full of things to do as long as you like exploration and have patients, and the ships are thoughtfully designed. Sure there's no multiplayer, but I could really care less about that anyway, with updates this could be the perfect game, I mean, it's already better than Elite: Dangerous. Sure the game holds your hand, sure you can't crash into anything and die, and sure, if you manage to die you can get all your things back; but that's hardly the point. Play the game guys, and appreciate it for what it is, A light friendly romp through the galaxy seeking out new forms of life and fabulosity.
