No Man's Sky: Voyagers update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

way too much hate for no good reason.

I just got the game a couple weeks ago. I avoided it in the past because of all the hate I read about it. I never read about any hype and don't really care what ANY game maker says about their game. It's all lies anyway, so they can make sales. But I read enough good things about this game that I wanted to get it. It seemed like a game I would really love. And it is! I love it! I can't stop playing it. My computer sucks, so it must be somewhat optimized, because it plays well, and looks great! I can just go around and do stuff I wanna do. There are some quests to do, and I'm doing them as well, to get my base built up. But looking through the reviews from last year, all I can say is, not a single one of them is at all helpful. Seriously. Everything they complain about isn't true for me. So they anti hype is all about lies, too? I dunno. Maybe it was true, but it's not any more. The one cavet here is, I don't like most multiplayer games, so I'm not playing this one for the multiplayer.

Not perfect, but enjoyable

I remember watching this game game get hammered on release, so I had no intention of buying it. But I kept watching Hello Games add updates, so I thought why not give it a try. So after having zero experience on launch, I can tell you this game is a good time as of the Atlas update. Currently playing in a few modes, creative, and doing the atlas story on normal. Seems there is plenty to do, and see. Nice colorful worlds, cool star ships, base building, sci fi sounding music, etc. There is some repetition, it's grindy in the sence your always collecting resources, and repairing. I see alot of complaints on optimization. I'm not seeing a problem there, I'm using the R9-390X, and I'm running the game at 1080p solid 60 fps. I respect Hello Games for trying to make good on the promises made. Most game companies would have simply taken the money and ran. If the price is right give it a try.

Well worth the time

Disregard the low ratings before August 2017: the game has been optimized and expanded with a few major free updates and is just amazing. I've spent more than 20h and have not even made a jump to another system! Some aspects can be repetitive but the content is regularly expanded by the developers. The freedom to roam in a beatiful open world is enticing. Going into the atmosphere of a planet without any loading screens is a great feeling. I know the game was half-baked on release but it is great now, I would buy whatever expansion these guys make!

New updates changed the game completly.

This game needs to get the old reviews redone. Since the new updates it's completly different and the devs keeps getting it better. At firts when this game got out, I played to the point of getting frustrated with all the issues and loop stuff, I even throw the game away until I hear of the investment the compagny kept putting into it. Now the game is so much different, better in a lots of way and much more fluid. If you tried it before and complaint about I recommend you give it another chance, you won't be desapointed. Also I'm sure the devs will keep updating the game to even better level.
