Ok game but slow on patching on GOG
Currently i am finding the game ok apart from slight framerate issues.My biggest gripe with the game is the fact that when bought off GOG the updates are getting to us much slower and i find this unacceptable.

Brilliant
The game as of 1.09.1 is running really well, I have been a fan since the first announcement that it was coming and despite a few features in the trailers not being included in the game at release, it is a very enjoyable experience. There is deep mystery to be solved and even once you have maxed everything out the size of the universe means that there is always something I haven't seen before and the promise of one day figuring out how to open portals and discover the hidden messages in the languages keeps me playing. The ships in the game are procedurally generated and while I don't like the Gek ships I am always on the look out for my next sexy beast. New content will likely be coming out in the near future too which means a whole new way to play.

Love it
Was Leary of paying so much, but was worth it. I love this type of game. It runs perfect on my rig, no problems at all. Graphics are amazing! I like exploring and this is how it should be done. Not fighting for your life every minute. Just surviving, exploring and enjoying the moment. It's amazing the work that went in to this game. different environments.Huge. Really well done. It's like Morrowind 4.0.

No Man's Game
No Man's Sky, after all of the hype and the flak and the silence and the contreversy, stands as one of the most interesting if flawed games of the decade. You start your journey in one of a quintillion completely unique but somewhat samey planets as you collect resources to repair your ship, learn the language of the alien races that have populated the universe, and investigate the strange anomalies that pop up in a small fraction of the solar systems that you visit. The game does nothing particularly well: its item inventory screen is a pain, combat is spongy, the controls are sluggish, and the story underdeveloped, but as a whole it provides some feeling of the vastness of space that is initially breathtaking, then depressing, then frustrating. If this game was supposed to be a metaphor for the feeling of being utterly alone in this universe then it succeeds gracefully, if its goals were literally anything else then it stands as an abject failure. There are a few points in this game where you land on an unknown and unnamed plannet and see an elephant with the head of a fly, or see the sun be eclipsed by a moon during an acid rainstorm, or find the anomalies for the first time that are truly majestic. Unfortunately, they probably aren't worth the million other moments where you are bored out of your mind.
