Neverwinter Nights: Infinite Dungeons

If you like NWN's action maps, you are going to love this one. Great place to enjoy your predictable dungeon crawling in pure hack and slash style. For me, the main fun here is experimenting builds, leveling and trying out different characters. However, the price tag is completely out of place. If you are lucky to catch the -80% sale, it goes down to a testimonial 0.59€... Then go for it!

Nothing else to say, really. The story is kinda lame, but otherwise it's great fun! >>> Runs very smoothly (not like in the Diamond version)!

While I absolutely understand the need to start new playthroughs at level 5, with low-level characters in D&D being extremely frail (especially solo), it also defeats the purpose of playing an RPG and developing a character from zero to hero. This could've been avoided by granting a diminishing buffs to under-leveled heroes instead, so you don't have to spend an hour creating a character before playing the game. In d20 D&D A "negative level" is a -1 bonus across-the-board" and as such it's trivial to roughly "level up" a character by inverting the sign. The RogueBasin wiki lists over a 1,000 roguelikes to choose from, most of which are completely free-to-play and many that are being developed for decades. Literally all of them will allow you to start from 1. While it should be possible to find some fun here, it's hard to recommend even for cents of a dollar.

wtf, who pays for free software? I tell you who: elderly people that get bad help when they try to buy sth in a store. Or tourists getting ripped off at some cultural site. I would even do it if i was certain the devs of these modules saw a cent or two from it....

Seriously. people should be compensated for their time. Maybe someone who lives in a basement pirating software all day doesn't feel people should be paid for their work. I don't know. What I do know is being able to download an updated mod that works on modern systems and have it work without any tweaking is WELL worth the 3 dollar asking price. Seriously. pay three dollars and it works right away, or search online for hours, download it from some sketchy site, then tweak it for awhile to make it work? It's a no-brainer. I'm a software dev and it's EASILY a no-brainer.
