Myst Masterpiece Edition

I'd love to call Myst a puzzle game for the ages, but behind it's at-the-time stunning visuals, the puzzles just aren't very good. They're often incredibly obtuse, strange and non-sensical, even for an adventure game. I feel all warm and fuzzy thinking back to the time I spent with Myst when it came out, but I'm not sure I'd be able to stand it today. Still, at $5.99, it's a great piece of gaming history if you haven't played it.

I've just played Myst for the first time, it's a very good game with an amazing atmosphere. Some parts are a little bit repetitive, others have great puzzles although not easy to resolve (sometimes I've used a guide to help me). There are multiple ending sequences although the real one is a little bit disappointing I think I will play its sequel

Classic point and click puzzle adventure. Quite challenging in a few spots. but very rewarding.

Myst was a great game, but I couldn't get this version to work. On both my Windows 7 gaming rig and my Windows XP laptop the game will randomly lock up and require killing of the process. It's a shame.

Greatest adventure game ever...the one that started it all.
