Another Insult to gog customers
Game might be great, but gog does not recieve any of the newer updates. This shows how paying customers are treated aside from the "big boy STEAM" platform. Do youself a favor and do not buy this anywhere, until they start actually treating their customers fairly.

Why So Many Negative Reviews?
First off, the game is great. I don't understand the reviews criticizing the grind/saving method, most likely your new to the genre of life sims. This game saves exaclty like Stardew and the grind is equivelent to Stardew. Intead of farming of course (but is an option), you're a new builder who will play a big role in the town of Portia, from building things that are significant and needed for the story, or building a variety of objects for sidequests. Another thing I see many reviews have a problem with is the social system, socializing is obviously optional and isn't needed to progress in the game. The social system is to be friend someone, all characters have their own personality and gifts from which they like and love. Eventually you'll have the option of dating from the handfull of bachelor or bachelorette. Agian, the social syrem is very similar to Stardew, but defenitley more grindy which I personally didn't mind. Overall, My Time at Portia is a very good game, I didnt run in to any bugs and if I did I cant even recall what those were. The negative reviews for this game on GOG are baffling compared to the ones on Steam. There are a ton of things to do ranging from the main storyline, side quests for lots of the characters, seasonal events that the town and you can participate in, dating, getting married, having a child, minin games, mining, dungeons to explore, many ancient artifacts to peice together, building a large variety of objects, farming, fishing, and more. This is a great game for all who enjoy life sim games, one of the best in the genre and can't wait for the sequel arriving in early access this May. I hoped this review helped anyone who hasn't played My Time At Portia and are intrested in buying the game. If you're intrested and having nothing else to play, 29.99 is 100% worth it, you'll get plenty of content and hours of fun. If you're still doubtful and not in need of a new game, I'd say wait for a sale. :)
