A hidden object game that is... good?
I vicariously experienced a loooot of Hidden Object games thanks to my mom's love for these things, so I can say with authority that 99% of them are copypasted trash pooped out by the same money-hungry Russian company. I'm delighted to say that My Brother Rabbit is the pleasant exception. Artifex Mundi got their crap together and crafted a proper point & click adventure. There is not even any dialogue in this one, meaning no barely coherent voice acting from people who's first language is probably not English. The puzzles are organically integrated into the cartoonish environment. Artwork looks good, music is decent, no complaints here. There is a soppy frame story about some girl dying of who cares disease, the game is sorta a metaphor for the relationship between her & her brother. Justifying the dream-like landscape that the puzzles take place in. Coulda done without that tearjeker but it's an improvement over the kinda "plot" you get in a regular Artifex Mundi game. How many times can some broad God I hate you, Artifex Mundi. But credit where credit is due, you did good with this one. Now stop churning out Enigmatis sequels, I'm begging you...
