Description
A challenge has been set by the Druids of the High Temple! You and your tribe have to compete with up to three others to find the Moonstone and bring it back to the Stone Circle. The prize is ultimate power!

Sounds simple enough if it wasn't for the small matter of the Black Knights.

They have other ideas. Their masters have sworn them to destroy the Moonstone - and you with it.

They have a whole gang of extremely nasty friends to help them. These include hammer-wielding Trogs, vicious Ratmen, Mudmen of the wetlands and the terrible lady known as The Guardian.

Moonstone is a remarkable combination of fast, aggressive combat action and subtle role-play that, perhaps uniquely, challenges your brain - while it covers you in gore.

Oh, by the way, if the sight of so much blood upsets you, don't worry. The blood is an option!

Classic - 5 stars if amiga version

Few games have stood out as much as this one when we first played it in the early 90s. The music, the gameplay, the sound, graphics, gore it was absolutely brilliant. Considering its a game designed with one button, the gameplay isn't lacking at all and finding the right way to slice your enemies can be very satisfying. I think what really stood out for me was the monsters you battled coupled with the use of sound but I also loved how it was like a living board game. I had this game on amiga 500 back in the day and admittedly it was a pirated copy (in Australia we didn't have a lot of access to a lot of games/etc). Sadly I was never able to finish it because at a certain point into the game, it would always crash. Years later, I got it running on PSP and my friend and I (late 20s) were getting into fights over who would play it next. I prefer the Amiga version. There are a couple of mechanic differences and the sound is no where near as good on PC. Fun fact, it was deemed too gory for console back in the day. Almost got released on Genesis/Megadrive. Then Mortal Kombat came out and was too popular to leave off consoles. Not fair!!!

I never stopped thinking about this game

This was one of my favourite games as a kid. I used to play with my siblings. One of the most memorable games I ever played.

It's a great game same as the original on the Amiga 500. However why does it not have the amazing music and sound effects of the original
