Unpolished classic
A game with much potential, released too early for it's own good. But for nostalic Might and Magic feeling factor: 5Stars

Don't waste your $
I had fun until about halfway through the game and ran into a bug I couldn't get around and even consulting the oracle (Google) turned up a big fat zero. Had a few random crashes here and there up to this point, but nothing restarting the game wouldn't solve. Ending up just uninstalling the game and deleting the saves out of pure bitterness... Gameplay was ok. Controls and quick keys were kinda odd, like B instead of C to cast a spell and other little things. A not so little thing was that you can't really rock out with skills and spells until major promotions later in the game. Skip this crap. GOG has lots of other games, and earlier versions of this game, that work flawlessly and you can actually finish.

Unfinished and unplayable
I did have a great time with M&M7, but this one is barely even a game. You do your thing, and suddenly night falls. The entire screen just turns pitch black in an instant. Of course it doesn't affect your enemies, so if it happens during combat they will keep attacking you, while you have no idea what's happening. The whole story and the objectives that connect it often feel like placeholder. Beating the tutorial island already requires a walkthrough. There's no reason why you need to click this one specific thing to progress. The game doesn't tell you to. But you won't progress if you don't. I didn't get far. Entered the sewers in the first city and couldn't find my way back. The useless minimap is well, useless. It's a shame, because it had potential. The reworked class system seemed interesting, and it has mouse controls, unlike previous games, which make it more comfortable to play. Unfortunately I really can't recommend it to anyone.

No longer works - can somebody fix this?
Whenever I try to load the game, I get a black screen for a second which promptly vanishes.

Quite ok addition to the series.
Game is overall quite enjoyable, however quite buggy. Story is quite ok so far - but ending of story is quite awful. Gameplay differs a little bit from other MM games - you move with WASD instead of arrows - that leads me to another different thing in gameplay - you won't propably use turn-based mode. I tried it once in this game, and never used it again - that means game is definitely more fast paced than others. AI also got less artificial - enemies dodge, and move around, while fighting. Do I recomend this game? Definitely, but play MM6, MM7 and MM8 first. You must be also quite patient with troubleshooting.
