A Suprisingly Addicting Beat-em-up!
Went in to this expecting something completely different than what it was but ended up still absolutely enjoying and loving it! The combat feels insanely smooth (...Most of the time) and I absolutely love the art style the game has, along with the character customization. My only gripes are I wish that challenges were available when you first played the mission instead of just being a reason to replay missions. I also disliked how short some missions are, such as the bathroom level which just features one room that you fight a few enemies in. And finally, the "Perks" you unlock which add new ways to play are nice (and you unlock them by 100% levels) but... Useless considering using them disables earning any challenges as well as leaderboard scores... They're a fun idea but if all the reasons to go back and use them for missions is disabled... what's the point? Despite all of this, there does seem to be a decent amount of missions, the skill tree seems vast and adds lots of very fun combos to hit (Makes this feel like Devil May Cry) and I can see myself getting a good 10 hours of gameplay out of this more than likely. All-in-all a *very* fun game.
