Metal Wolf Chaos XD

Love this game. Controls take a minute to get used to. Easily playable with an Xbox controller since precision isn't necessary. I wish more games were made like this nowadays. Just good ole fashioned fun. Highly recommened.

I was really excited to finally be able to play this game but sadly it just crashes to desktop whenever I start a new game. What a waste of money.

Somehow the first mech game I’ve ever played. You’ll get a solid 7 hours or so out of this. I managed to extend that to 13 by doing a quick replay of all the levels on Hell difficulty and attempting and failing to rescue all the POWs. I wouldn’t mind seeing Devolver Digital bring back some other games that are trapped on older consoles, but I’m assuming this is a one off considering the ridiculous nature of Metal Wolf Chaos. Surprisingly enough there’s no Mount Rushmore level. From Soft must’ve been saving that for the sequel. And the only gripe I had with the game is that there are a ton of missing sound effects throughout every cutscene. Supposedly that's being looked into by the devs who did the port. Good game though. Well worth a sniff on a sale for anyone curious.

When you come stressful at home. This game can relieve from that by having fun causing mass mayhem and destruction. BELIEVE IN YOUR OWN JUSTICE!

I'm having fun with the game when I get to play it. Unfortunately it's complete luck whether or not the game loads. Start a new game. Game Crashes. Load a save. Game Crashes. Retry after dying. Game Crashes. In fact the first time it crashed it actually caused my graphics driver to screw up and I had to restart before anything would work again. You're better off buying an OG Xbox and playing it on that.
